Jenna O - The Fall of Jenga

This was taken at my house on my 17th birthday. I boosted the contrast and filtered the color to black and white. I love this picture because you can see the tilt of the tower of Jenga blocks about to fall.

This photo is cool because the Jenga tower is about to collapse. The lighting in the photo is really good and I like that everything is on the table is in focus on the table. I like how the Jenga tower is off center but is still the main subject of the photograph. The expression on the boy's face is neat because it looks like he is realizing that the tower is about to fall. The only question I have is why he didn't try to pull a block out from the row above, bad decision on his part. Overall, I think the picture is is really cool.

The depth of field works well in this shot. The jenga pieces are perfectly in focus, while the background is more blurred, though the viewer can still see the expression on the person’s face. This is great when it comes to the story that the photo is telling. I also like the use of the rule of thirds. The viewer can tell the tower is about to fall down, and he or she can then see where it will fall.

I love how the picture focused completely on the falling Jenga tower! I liked your choice of making it black and white also! When i look at this picture, it makes me want to scream, "AHHHHH IT'S GONNA FALL!!!!!!!!"

I like this picture a lot because daves face is so focused on the tower. The shadows make his hand and the tower look like they are jumping out at you. I think the black and white is definitely the best way to edit this. And I like it because I was there.. haha

I really like that the focus is on the Jenga tower and how you much you actually see the tilt before it falls! Making the picture black and white was a good choice, i think it puts more of the focus on the tilting tower than it would if it was in color. I also like the fact that you can still see his facial expression, even though its not the main focus

I really like this picture because of how the focus is on the tilting jenga tower. i also like the expression on the dude in the back ground. on thing i think you could do to make better is to take black and white out.
