Steven L- Through the Fire and Flowers

This was one of the pictures that I turned in for the composite assignment. It has 3 different pictures combined, one pic of a lighter, the other of some flowers, and one pic of clouds. I think it looks pretty cool with the flowers in the background and all of that.

I really like this photo, I think the focus was done well, and I'm assuming you exaggerated the black point when editing but it's done well and gives the photo a kind of eery feel.

This is a really great photo!! I love how you made it look like you kind of lighting your way through a forest. It gives it a kind of creepy but warm vibe to it. There was very creative. The composure of it is very good as well. I think I would maybe lighten it up just a bit but over its really good!

This is really cool photo! I like this composite because it can be seen as telling a story. The way you edited it so only the flowers near the flame is lit up seems like a given but it really does make the photo! Only thing I may have done is erased the flowers on the hand so it seems more realistic. Overall nice photo.

I really like this photo. I like how the picture gives off this ominous feel to it. It's cool because the photo looks real, I didn't even know it was a composite photo till I read the caption. I also like how clear the fire is even though it isn't close up. The only thing I would change is by getting rid of some of the flowers on the hand. Overall, this is a great photo.

This photo is intriguing in a good way. I like how you used the fact that fire doesn't have a shadow, but instead cats a shadow upon others in order to capture the essence of the dark and how it can easily overtake everyting around it and further enhancing this using vignette. I am also amazed by how this photo also represents that their can't be darkness without light and thats why the shadow isn't overtaking all of the light.

This is one of the best photos I've ever seen. The main focus (which is the fire) is perfectly in frame. The dark red, bright orange, and black colors is what makes this photo so good. The dark background with the bright light in the middle makes the light look so loud in such a good way. It makes my mood feel really calm for some reason, maybe it's the lacking of light in the surrounding area.
