Maci H. - Ground Up

The image I am submitting to the photo blog is “Ground Up”. I took this during the day on September 28th in my backyard. The picture was taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. I used Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 to edit this picture by raising the saturation and exposure. This picture could have been better if I had focused on a better area of the tree.

Great Picture! I love all of the shades of green. The closeup on the tree is really nice and how the main focus is looking up the tree. Great work overall I would just sharpen it a bit more.

Love you picture! So cool and also love the name of it as well. One thing you could have done better sharpen it a little bit. You could have also blurred the edges up the sides of the tree that would make it look really cool to. Loved it!!!_Sarah Page H.

I've tried to take this photo so many times and it always turns out looking really bad, but you made it work very well a large area of focus enough to make you really look at the detail in the bark. The little green specks of moss work well to balance the photo. - Sam Rigsby.

i love this picture. I really like the point of view its from. Its like you're an insect climbing up the tree. i also like how bright the picture is and how it shines through the leaves and makes the picture look great.
