This image is called “The Darkened Woodlands”. This was taken in Aspen during spring break with what I think is either my iPod or my CANON, you decide. I edited the photo using the new additions to photoshop with I think the HDR thing to try to make the photo more ominous and interesting. It could be better if the photo was more clear because of the blur in the sky which sort of ruins the composition. The woodlands may look beautiful, but when you’re in it, it’s dangerous, and worrisome. I took the photo trying to give an ominous feeling to the viewer, trying to get them to wonder and fear about what is inside, we don’t know what is in there, other than trees and animals, but what about a superior being of an animal? How do we know if there truly is no such creature? Enjoy guys. :)

I love the lighting but if it didn't have the vignette it would look better. Which would fix some of the lighting on the corners.It would have been cool to shoot this in HDR too.

I really like this picture and I think you did a good job using the light but I agree with Lupita about the vignette around the sides. I really think you did good keeping the whole image centered. Overall I really like this picture and I like the mood you created with it!

I really do like this photo and I don't know what you took it with but it looks really good. The focus of the picture is the dreary color and that just bring the picture together as a whole. I like how the color varies within the clouds. The brighter colors in the top really accent the uniformed trees below it. I definitely think this picture is a keeper.
I really like this photo. I love the ominous feel that this photo gives off. The lighting could have been better around the edges of the photo to allow it to be more visible. I would be interested in seeing this same picture taken on a sunny day just to see the comparison.

i really like this picture. The sides of the picture is kind of dark. The focus of the picture is great. the way the clouds and the trees come together is fantastic. Great Job.
I really like this photo! This pic looks like something I would see in a nature catalog. It looks pretty surreal. y favorite part would have to be the lightning bolt in the sky the highlights the trees. Great job!
Great picture ! I really like the dark color. The sky looks amazing as if something very cool was about to happen. I think this picture would be better if the corners would not be as dark, but other than that this picture is great.

I love this picture! The sky looks really cool and gives off an eerie feeling. It looks like a professional photo. To make it better, you could have lightened up the edges. But overall, i really like it and you did a great job!
This is a really cool picture! I like the contrasts of colors through out the picture. I like how the sky and the trees are the main focus of the picture! If anything, I would make the sky a little brighter! Overall, this is an awesome picture great job!

I love this picture. I like how dark and mysterious it is. I love how you can see some of the sun coming through the dark clouds and I like all the different color contrasts. This looks very professional, Great picture!
