Wes S- Elephant Ear

It was taken in a dryer up creek. I took it September 30th. I took the picture with a cannon rebel I edited it by raising the saturation and adjusting the hue slightly on the elephant ear and covering the rest of the picture with a black and white filter that had the opacity turned down. It would probably look better if i cropped out the one in the bottom right.

I really like the use of rule of third with the plant. I also like the color green sticking out. The saturation and knocking down the other colors looks good. I also like the lighting and how it is a little dark.
I like the lighting in this picture and how it isn't too bright giving it a more dramatic looking effect in contrast with the areas covered with the black and white filter. I like how the green stands out in the picture and how the plant is on a third. I think you should have cropped the picture so that the leaf at the bottom wasn't there, but overall I like this picture.
