I took this picture with my brother. Hw was playing the guitar and I thought i might as well play with the aperture on my camera. I wanted the viewer to focus on his strumming hand and the grain of the guitar. To enhance the texture of my brother's hand and arm, I increased the highlights and shadows.

I like this photo. It shows relizism and character, I like how you centered on his playing not so much on the guitar.

I really like this picture because the angle and the coloring of it makes it a really good picture. The picture is very neat, and interesting. It shows what someone likes to do, and took time out of their life to learn something that is a very difficult thing to learn.

This picture is really cool. You make good use of DOF with good focus on the guitar and hands and the background blurred. It is a shallow DOF, yet I think that the picture could be better with more of the photo in focus. The last hand (on the neck) in hard to see. Because the picture in titled "Hands," both hands in the shot would make it more effective. Another idea that I like is that the picture is centered on the hands instead on the guitar which puts the views focus on them. I really like this picture because it is detailed well and gives a happy mood of hands freely playing a guitar.

I love this! I really like how the focus is specifically on the hand and the guitar, and fades with the length of the guitar. I also like how the colors are warm and it gives off a very home-y feeling (if that's a word). Great job!

Nice shot. I like the angle of this shot and the depth of field. This really helps to show that the main focus is the strumming hand. This photo is slightly underexposed and could use some contrast, all of which can be fixed in Photoshop. If this was a posed photo I would have had the person remove their wristwatch, but if it was in the moment there isn’t really that much you can do about it. Nice shot, but if processed right it could be even better.
