Jennifer L- Untitled

My picture has no title but it was taken around a month ago here at the school in the courtyard and I took it with my Canon T5 Camera. I edited the picture by adding the filter Transfer, Increasing the contrast not by much, Increasing the shadows and lowering the highlights, and also brightening it a little bit. This picture could be better if the blu in the sky had more details with how I edited it or maybe the colors of the flag could be more brighter.

Just to say, from first glance and even after looking at it for awhile, this photo is very appealing to me. Even though the lighting isn't crazy or dynamic, the consistency adds another layer of depth, almost ironically. The centering of the flag is nice, and it works, but i wonder what the image would look like if the flag was placed into the rule of thirds and shifted just slightly. The image itself gives me an almost vintage feeling and a feeling of patriotism. I really do like this photo!

I love the sharp crispness of the focus. It contrasts to the painting like look of the clouds in the background. Making the flag the dead center of the photo adds to the patriotic feeling. I especially love the brightness of the white and red while the background is more chill.

Love this photo. I also agree with you, very slightly higher contrast would make it look sharper. I think the weather could not have been better.

I really like this picture! I Loe how simple it is but how it still looks really cool! I love the filter you used because it really brings out the two different blues and the red in the flag and sky. I also like the angle it's taken and how close it is to the flag. Really cool!

Great picture , The contrast of the picture helps the background . The filter also helps bring out the colors of the flag which is so good. Also are you stevens sister?. Cool picture!!!

This is an awesome picture! I love how vibrant the colors are, they really pop off the picture. I love how simple the picture is, the plain background really helps focus on the flag. I would have maybe sharpened the picture a little to bring out the detail in the flag. overall this picture is really great!!

I like the lighting of this photo. The brightness of it seems to bring out the white colors of the photo and highlight the time of day that it was taken. I also like the framing of the photo. The flag is aligned in the middle of the frame, centered around the clouds which provides a great balance. The photo makes me happy because it has a very patriotic and happy feeling to it.

I really like the coloring of this photo! The colors to me are very soft and highlight each other. I also like the clouds in the background; like they are almost placed perfectly. It looks unreal. I wish a rule of thirds would have been used, but I guess that's just my style. Overall, really good pic and I like it a lot!¢

This is an amazing photo!! I love how you got the flag to be in the right position due to wind, which can be tough to get the right angle. I love the clouds in the background and how they aren't blurred out. I love the color of the flag and the background. The only thing I wish was different would be the sharpness of the image and the clearness, but other than that it's a lovely photo!! -Megan C HHS

You did a really awesome job with this photo. The colors of this photo provide it with more a vintage feel, and I really like the way you edited it. It looks so vibrant and the filter really made this photo come to life. It is almost like I can see the flag actually waving in the wind. If I had to change anything about this photo I would have applied the rule of thirds by shifting the flag up a bit, but overall job well done. It looks very professional!
