Alyssa C- Jack Skellington

This image is called Jack Skellington. I took this photo a couple days before Halloween after I had just finished craving my pumpkin. I decreased the highlights and increased the shadows this way the light in the pumpkin would really glow. I wish that the other pumpkin to the left had more color to it when I had edited this picture.

Cool picture. I like the dark, gloomy overall feeling of the picture and I think that's what you were trying to accomplish. I don't see anything wrong with it, but maybe if the pumpkins were a little more orange. The saturation is perfect too. Great image!

I love the focus on the edges of the carved area in the Jack Skellington pumpkin. The contrast between the dark blue background to a glowing orange light is very interesting, it adds a visually pleasing effect. This photo makes me feel nostalgic of all the times I carved pumpkins with my family and how fun it was to see them on the porch. This photo is definitely a keeper.

Really great job with this picture! I love Halloween, so obviously I think this one is really cool. The dark background makes the pumpkins stand out really well. The glowing light from the pumpkins really sets the mood for the photo. I also like how you used the rule of thirds. It adds a lot to the photo's composition. Overall I really like this picture and it's one of my favorites I've seen on the blog!

This photo is great. I loved how the dark background gives a really nice emphasis on the glow of the pumpkins. I think decreasing the lighting was a great move. I also think that increasing the black point would make it better. I think your suggestion of having more glow on the other pumpkin would make it better too. Overall I love the picture.

this picture looks really unique. I like how the orange pops a lot in this photo. it does not really need to be edited even more. it's perfect how it is.

I like the exposure of this photo. It is underexposed in the background, but the main subject is highlighted because of the exposure. I like the colors in this photo. It focuses specifically on orange and the colors in the pumpkin, the background colors are unsaturated. I like the mood of this photo. It reflects the mood of Halloween and pumpkin carving.

I really like this photo. I love the bright color of the pumpkin with the dark background. I also like how focused the pumpkins are. You can clearly tell what the subject of the photo is. You did a really great job.

This is a really nice image. I like the dark tones of it bu the lighting from the inside of the pumpkins exemplifies the details greatly. I love how perfectly it fits the overall tone of the image. The only improvement I can think of is a bit more light on the second pumpkin. It seems largely overshadowed by the first one. Other than that I love it.

This is a really good photo. The focus is very sharp and makes the carvings stand out more. I love the lighting. It is dark and blue-ish in the back and the light coming from the pumpkins is very clear and glowy. That could also go for the dark and light areas. Looks good. This photo gives me a spooky vibe. It is for sure a keeper! Good job!
