Carson R - The Long Road

This image is entitled “The Long Road” as it reminds me of the album by Nickelback. This was taken last summer in St. George Island with my Nikon d3400. I edited this by bringing up the contrast a lot and brightening the image. I also used the Color Efex Nik Collection and used a few filters there to increase the saturation and decrease the sharpness. I think it could be better if there wasn’t a bright orange/red spot above the horizon on the left side of the image.

I really like this photo! this could be considered an abstract image for the assignment. I love the warm colors and how there are so many colors. Overall great job!!
i think this picture came out great ! The color pigment is incredible and the silhouettes of the bridge, posts, and trees is such a nice complimentary aspect to the picture. Amazing job !

I think this is a beautiful picture. I love all the colors and how they blend in together. The bridge in the image makes it better. I don't think this image needs to be changed. If I could keep this image I would. Great Job! Betsy B-HHS
The colors are very cool/ I really like how the focus was in this photo. In the end I really like this photo.
I think this is a really great photo! I absolutely love the mix of colors in this photo ranging from reds to purples. I think decreasing the sharpness in this photo was a really good idea, however, I would like to see what the sharpened image looked like as well. I think you did a spectacular job.
I love this photo. the color composition is so nice and i like how you can see the green coming from behind the clouds. The only thing i would fix about this picture would be making the blacks in the image blacker and make it a little more clear. Over all its such a beautiful image. - Alex H HHS
I really like this photo, Especially the colors of this photo. The contrast of the photo's color is really good. I think this is a little bit blurry, If the photo is more focused It will turn more attractive. Overall the image was absolutely good! DeebajF- HHS
