Danielle M - Lookout

The title of this picture is “Lookout”. I took it in Eufaula, Alabama while taking pictures of local alligators. This bird was truly fearless of any people or other animals and I loved the way it looked out and acknowledged its surroundings. The picture was taken with my Nikon D5100. I edited by sharpening it and adding a color filter to increase the intensity of the picture.

I really like the colors the water gives off, as well as the composition of the shot. The way to bird looks indifferently out to the water really gives an ambient mood that is only helped by the nice use of the vignette. The reflections in the water almost makes it look like there is a second image within it. Overall this is a stellar picture.

Danielle!
This is such a good picture! I really like this picture and how the center of the picture is brighter than the outside. I also like how the darkness from the outside was cut with the contrast of crane. I also liked how you use the rule of thirds and had the crane in the corner to set off the image a little to make it more natural. The textures of whatever was in the water was a really nice touch to show of details. I really like this picture! Definitely a keeper!

I love this photograph! I love how there are so many different colors and color shades included in the image. I also love how the center of the picture is pure yellow. Great job working with this. Definitely a keeper! Keep up the great work!!
