Madeline V.- Washington

This Picture is called Washington, and I named it this because I took it in Washington D.C. this past spring break.  I edited it by straightening the picture and cropping it a little and making it black and white.  I could’ve made it better if I had maybe added some color or something, but otherwise I’m pretty happy with it:)

I like the edits on the picture and how the overall composition looks great, even when the black and white is added. It is great with the dark blacks and clear whites. I would wish that there was more detail, but overall a great photo.

I like how you used a black and white filter on this. Also, the angle you took this at is great because of the leading lines going toward the tall monument being more distant. Also, i think the balance of light and dark is very nice in this photo. Nice Job!

The angle of this picture is great. The way the lines flow in this picture is perfect. The light in this picture is awesome. I don't think much can be done to make it better. It's a great edit. Maybe cropping out so there isn't so much sky in the picture.

I love this picture I like how it looks antique. The black and white works so well on this. I also really like the angle, you're slightly higher up then everyone else.

I really like this picture. It's a fairly simple photograph which I like. You also have a pretty cool subject.

I really like this photo. The lighting has a good balance of dark and light areas. I also like all of the geometry in the photo. The straight lines give the photo a perfected, organized feel. Overall, great photo.

I like this photo because the monument is off center and the lake adds leading lines. The black and white add a nice simplicity to the picture. The only thing would maybe try and photoshop the people out. Great photo!

I love the concept of this image. And the black and white filter you added to it really adds a lot. I really like how the trees are dead and there aren't a lot of people there too! It gives a very cold, winter, and lonely look to it. But i do think that it could be cropped a little bit from the top and bottom and I wish we could see more of the sides of the picture. Great job overall with it though! The lighting of it and the white balance does make the photo to a success.
