Hope W- Lion

The title of my image “Lion”. It was taken with a Nikon D80 at the zoo for the animal assignment. I edited by bumping up the brightness and the contrast and adding a levels and curves layer. I think it could be better if I didn’t have the line from the glare in the glass.

This is a really good picture! I like the colors of the lion's mane and the leaves in the background. I also like how you caught the lion with his mouth open. Nice shot!

I really like this photo! I like how you took the picture while the lion was yawning. I agree that it could have been better if the glare line wasn't there.

I really love this picture! The details in the lions face and the timing it was taken when it was yawning. I agree that it would be better if their wasn't a line from the glass reflection. Other than that you did a great job!

This is really cool. I like the way that you added contrast and it really shows in the picture. I also agree that the picture would be better if the glare from the glass would be gone. Really nice picture though!

This is a great picture! Great timing to catch the lion yawning. Great editing and not going over the top and keeping it simple.

Even with the glare, I think this is a great shot. It really captures how relaxed and calm a lion can be compared to the predator most people see. The colors also balance really well.

Madeline V. HHS: I love how you caught the lion yawning and how up close you were able to get the shot! And I really like how you contrasted the photo and made it brighter. The glare is a little bit annoying, but there's nothing you can really do about it...
