Kristie M- Sunset on the Lake

This image is called “Sunset on the Lake”. I took this image at the small lake at veterans park for a previous assignment. I edited this image by changing the color balance to add more red, blue, and yellow, used the spot healing tool to get rid of dirt on the surface of the lake, and increased the contrast. This image was take on my Nikon camera and I feel that it could have been better if it were taken at a lower level.

i love this picture!! its so pretty and i like all the beautiful colors with the black contrast of the trees. like it the way it is but the colors on the lake are not as light and bright as the sky. IT would look good if it was lightened up but its great how it is too.

I really like this picture because of the reflection of the sky over the lake. the colors are very calm and peaceful. I wish the trees were not so dark but overall the image is really good. The bright sky contrasts nicely with the dark water in the lake. It's a really great pic!

I really like this picture a lot. I love the colors and how they reflect on the water. I actually like how the trees are dark, i think it brings out the colors of the sky more.
Great shot! I like how in it the depth of field is very deep for the landscape. For this image I think the crop works perfectly to draw attention to the colors and skyline. This photo makes me feel tired because it is about to be dark

I really love the colors in this picture and the way you edited it. I really like how the reflection of the sky over the water!!!! It would look good if it was lightened up but its great how it is too!!!

Cool pic! I really like how the calmness of the water makes it difficult for the onlooker to tell whether they are looking at the lake or the sky. I also like how you edited this to make more color pop out. I believe that if you had taken it maybe a little bit earlier, you could have gotten a more different variety of colors in the sky. I also agree with you that the picture could have been better if taken at a lower level. Overall, I believe that this is a really neat picture! Heath M - HHS
I really like this picture. I really like they colors of this picture. I like how the tress are silhouetted, it puts more emphasis on the sky. The other thing that I thought was cool about this picture is the reflection of the sky on the lake. Overall this picture is really good.

The reflection of the trees and the sunset in the water is just flat out gorgeous! The whole image is just so peaceful and quiet. The water looks like it has;t moved in a long time and is just waiting for someone to swim in it. The blue in the sky is such a pretty blue. The yellow and the bottom of the trees is such a warm yellow! Love the picture! Good Job!-Sarah page H.-HHS
