Aubrey M- The Swimmer

The title of this image is The Swimmer. It was taken towards the beginning of the year, at a high school swim meet. Its of a swimmer from another high school. It was taken with my Nikon camera, I put it into Photoshop, and used camera raw filter to edit it. As well as I cropped it, I think it could be better if it showed other swimmers too.

Great picture! I love the focus on the swimmer, and how detailed/textured the water looks. I also like how the swimmer is centered, and the colors in the picture. You chose a good filter for this picture, it makes me feel accomplished for the person swimming. LFS- HHS

I like this photo because I enjoy the vibrant colors and the way the picture was taken. I think it could be better if you edited it a little more, but overall it is a great photo and a very cool shot. HH - HHS

This is a really cool action shot. The focus on the swimmer is sharp and you can see the water splashing which makes the photo feel very energetic. I like the bright blue colors of the pool because they make the subject stand out. The framing is good too since the lane lines guide your eyes toward the swimmer. Overall it gives a strong and competitive feeling, like you’re right in the middle of the race. CC - HHS

Amazing photo! I love how you got such a cool shot of the swimmer almost looking your way, the colors are so bright and it really makes the photo look amazing. Yes it could have been better if there were more swimmers in the photo but I think even with only one swimmer it looks great. A.A

I love this picture! I like how you got the swimmer mid stroke instead of trying to get a "better" pose. The vibrant colors are very appealing. CD- HHS
