Although I think the composition and editing of this photo are a bit basic, I'm mainly intrigued by the subject of the image, that being the phone pole. First, what is the purpose of a phone poll at all. If it's for people to borrow the phones to call someone like a pay phone, what's to stop someone from just stealing the phones. Who replaces the broken ones? Is the pole just decoration, I see the sign on the bottom that may imply the pole is just a symbol of connectivity.
