Javier O- Untitled

This was taken in the month of November and it was taken in the studio room in the Digital Photography class. It was taken with the camera inside the room. I edited it by dimming the light and using the burn tool to dodge out some distractions. It could be better if maybe certain things werent in the image but overall it is a good image in my opinion.

Dimming the light can really help create a certain mood or highlight the main subject, and the burn tool is perfect for removing distractions. I totally get what you mean about some things in the frame—sometimes less is more when it comes to composition. If you could’ve removed certain elements, what would they have been? It’s always interesting to think about how those small changes could shift the whole feel of the shot. Overall, it sounds like you’re pretty happy with how it turned out, and that’s what matters most!

One of my favorite pictures so far, I really love how the bottles are reflecting the light, I also really love the mirror right in the middle of those two bottles, it gives it more of a mediaval look. The darkness of the room also gives it more of a creepy, old feeling. The red and the yellow color of the bottles are just amazing. The beads on the bottom of the picture also make it better, the way it's tied around the bottles is just great, giving it more felxibility. The background of the picture also gives it a good setting due to the contrast and light of the photo. The barcodes on the bottles ripped, gives it more of a old look. the broken mirror is perfect aswell, making these objects seem old, destroyed and useless. All these objects connect with eachother perfectly due to the setting of the picture and how it's made all together. Overall this picture is amazing.
