Aimee A- The Final Toss
I named this photo “ The Final Toss”. I took this photo at my sister's college on a Wednesday, and I took it with my camera. I edited by bringing the Exposure down and the brightness a little bit up, and by cropping it more. I think it could have been better if I blurred out the background a little bit more, so it would only focus on the three main people.
Jayda S- A Five-Story Coffee Wonderland
The title of this image is “A Five-Story Coffee Wonderland”. It was taken on May 15th, 2025, in the Chicago Reserve Roastery. It was taken with an iPhone 13. I edited it by turning up the exposure, brightness, vibrance, and shadows. I think it could be better if I put the gold poles more in the center. The Chicago Reserve Roastery is the biggest Starbucks in the world. It is a 35,000-square-foot, five-story building.
Kingston C- Purple Sky
This is called Purple Sky. I took it at the Hoover library with my Samsung phone; the photo was taken in a little outside spot. With the editing, I messed with the hue a bit and brought the brightness down. If I had a real camera when I took this, it could have looked a bit smoother.
Anastasiia O- Plant
The title of this image is “Plant”, even though it's fake. I took it in my room with my phone. I edited this image by making the colors more vibrant and adjusting its curves, lighting, etc. Cleaned up all the little imperfections on the wall behind it and the shelf it is on. I think this picture would have looked better if I had wiped the dust off the plant before I took the picture.

Sophie A - Verde
Jack S- MtLeConteSummit.
This image is titled MtLeConteSummit because it was taken at the peak of Mt. LeConte in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN. It was taken on Sunday, October 12, 2025. This photo was taken with my Sony A6000 and its kit 28-70mm lens. I edited this photo by increasing the saturation, temperature, contrast, and lighting of the photo. I’m not too sure how to make this photo better.

Sarah J - Umbrella at Night
This photo is titled “Umbrella at Night”. It was taken on my back porch on the night of September 29 with my iPhone XR. I edited it by turning up the saturation and warmth, as well as turning down the sharpness and definition. I could have done better if I had fully outstretched the umbrella, then it wouldn’t have as many creases, which caused a lot of unwanted shadows (especially near the top).
Anastasiia O - Monster
I titled this picture Monster, because that’s what the picture is of. I took this at home with the Canon camera. I removed all the color from this picture when editing and made it brighter. It would have been better if it a backed up a bit when taking it.
Marvin M- Flowers
The title of this image is called “flowers,” I took this photo when I went to a garden with my mom. I took it with my iphone. I edited the shadows and made the white a little brighter, I think it’s fine the way it is.
Josiah G- Untitled
I took this photo at my house in my room. It was very cold and I was shivering. I use my Samsung galaxy s9 to shoot the photo so it might look a bit grainy when I take it. I edited by bringing down the saturation exposing the black-point to about 46 percent and turned down the brightness to 25 percent. How I think I could've edited a bit better is by giving a lot of saturation, not giving it any black-point and giving it a lot of color.

Wrilen W- Flowers
This photo was taken on my kitchen table during the afternoon and it was taken with a Kodak Pixpro AZ528 and with a tripod. I edited the photo by sharpening the image with a smart sharpener and the unsharpen mask. I lowered the brightness by -9 and added a curve layer, with an input of 108 and an output of 141. I don’t have an opinion on how it could have turned out better and I don’t have any other information on this photo.
Alana M- Motion
Adien E- Celcius
I took this in a publix I really like this picture because I love energy drinks. I didn't do much editing to this photo other than adjusted the contrast and highlights. I think this picture is a little blurry but I still love it. Im happy I chose this picture for the blog!!!!!!

Lilly S- RB Trail
Reese J- Cloud
The title of this photo is Cloud and it was taken at tip-top grill lookout in bluff park at 7:35 pm on august 16. This picture was taken with my panasonic FZ40 camera, and i edited it by Making the sky darker because it was overcast at the time, I also edited this picture bymaking the yellow, red and pink in the picture stand out more. This picture maybe could be better if i had the sun shining in the background. This was the first picture that i took at dusk.
Clay G- Beach
The title is the Beach, It was taken in Florida at seaside. It was taken with an iphone, I just turned up the brightness a little to edit the photo. It could maybe be better if I changed the colors a little bit. I got no other information I would want to share.

Julia M- Red Flower
This picture was taken outside an hour before sunset It was taken with my digital camera, This picture is a picture of a sunset and a flower. I used the brightness to bring out the color of the flower and highlights to make the sky look more vibrant. I also toned down on the shadows and black point to make the flowers not appear all black. I think it could be better if I took it earlier in the day so the flower's details could be seen better.
Ava J - Brick by Brick
I named this image “Brick by Brick” because it’s a picture of a beautiful brick wall outside my house. It was taken outside of my house at nighttime. I took this gorgeous picture with the camera of my iPhone 13. I edited this picture by dropping the light, increasing the color all the way, increasing the exposure, strengthening the vignette all the way, and lastly added the dramatic filter (100). I think it could be better if I had had more light source that was above the brick wall but just so happen to be out at the moment I took the picture.

Reginald L- About Me
The title of this photo is About Me. This is a photo of a structure that's in my lake. I took this behind my house for my About Me assignment. I used an iPhone 13 to take this photo. In this photo I adjusted the light, color, white balance, curves, and levels. I also added a Vivid filter and cropped it some.
Sarah J - Neon Night
This image is titled ‘Neon Night’ and was taken on the evening of September 22, 2025. I photographed this in the parking lot of a CVS facing the trees and power lines on my iPhone XR. To edit it, I simply used the glowing edges filter in Photoshop. I could do better by making the edges of the trees darker so the foreground of the powerlines contrasts more to the background.
Reagan H- Fall Season
I named this image “Fall Season” since it was taken at a fall party that me and my friends had over the break. It was taken October 11th at my friend’s house after we carved pumpkins. It was taken with a small nixon digital camera that my friend let me use to take the picture. I cropped the sides of the image and cleaned up some parts but I didn’t do any major edits. I think it could be less blurry but the camera that I use makes the images blurry so I couldn’t really help with that.

Kavi H - Sunset
The title of the image is Sunset. It was taken outside my house around a month ago. I edited it by changing highlights, exposure, and brilliance. I think it could be better if some trees were out of the way.
Isabelle G- Mont Saint-Michel Church
Mont Saint-Michel Church is the title of my image. This was taken in Mont Saint-Michel, France, on May 30, 2025, at 2:52 pm. It was a beautiful part of the church that was taken with my iPhone 14. I edited it by lowering the lighting, increasing the color, increasing the RGB curve, decreasing hue to -13.74, increasing saturation to 19.46, decreasing luminance to -14.15, and increasing the range to 2. It could be better if I tried sharpening the image more, making the architecture stand out even more. I love this image so much because it reminds me of the wonderful time I had in Europe. This church was such an amazing sight to see and is worth going to visit.
Braden K- X Wing
This is titled “X-Wing”. Took in Lewisburg, Tennessee, in the afternoon. This image was taken with a Nikon D70. I edited it with low light and high saturation/luminance. It could be better if I had blurred the background or removed objects from the backdrop to focus on the subject. This X Wing was an old toy of my dad's.
Maddie M- Pool
This image is called “Pool”. It was taken at a pool around 7 at night on September 25th of my friend Lilly. I edited it first in photos by bringing the brilliance, exposure, and brightness down a bit and bringing the black point and shadows up. Then I put it in Photoshop and used the dodge and burn tool to make her face a bit brighter and made the background a bit darker. I took it with a Canon EOS. It could be a bit better if there were a better background, like a forest or something.

Susan D - Split World
The title of this picture is split worlds as the airplane divides the sky and land. It was taken during my break when I was traveling with my siblings to New York to see family. It was taken with my iphone 15 plus. I edited it by messing with the lighting and contrast of the picture and I think it could be better if I can find a way to dim the lad part of the picture more while still allowing the details to stay presen
Cassidy D- Basilique Notre-Dame De Montreal
This photo was taken in Montreal on June 29th, 2025. It was taken with my phone. For this, I reduced the brilliance and contrast and increased the brightness, exposure, and black point. I think this photo could’ve been better if I had a better view of the entire front of the church.
Hazel A- Noche Frio
The title of this image is “Noche Frio(cold night)”. This was taken in the Riverchase Landings Apartments on October 15 at 1:30 AM using my iPhone camera. I edited it by Cropping, adjusting the colors, and making brightness changes. I could have made adjustments to the cropping, angle, focus, and colors. Lastly, it was very chilly, around 60-65°.
Tully S - Backyard Lookout
The title of this image is “backyard lookout”. It was taken in my backyard on August 20th at 5:21. I took this photo with my Canon EOS 2000D. I just cropped it because it came out really nice. I could have tried to make the green pop a little more. I took this photo just a little after we moved into the new house
Trizah O- Floral
I named this picture ‘Floral’ because the arrangement of the fabric is shaped like a flower, and the word just gives me very glowy and soft vibes. It was taken in my room a week before September ended with my phone camera (iPhone 14 Pro). I lowered the contrast for a ‘movie-like’ effect and increased saturation to make the colors stand out more. I think if the plastic weren’t visible and the patchiness of the light were more controlled, the photo would’ve been better, plus more focus on the flowers than the carpet.

Denver C- Cigarette
The title of my image is Cigarette. It was taken at the summit on October 1st around 9 pm. It was taken with my Nikon D3000. I changed the light settings and slightly changed the colors. It would definitely be better if I didn’t have the bush in the background of the shot. Overall, I really like how the picture turned out, but it could’ve been better.
Addison G- The Story of My Life
The title of this image is “The Story of My Life”. I chose this title solely because of the books in the picture, but it also has a deeper meaning. Reading overtook my life in 8th grade, and it’s been a great way to escape from reality and learn to be more imaginative. I took this picture with my phone, and I edited it through Photoshop, where I constantly touched up the lighting. I think the photo could be improved if I changed the positioning of some of the books piled on one another, or the vines in the middle.
