This is a photo of a bird and a round light with a lava lamp and a digital clock in the background. The title of the image is “Green Bird” because the bird is the subject of the image. I feel like the way it’s facing the lights in the foreground makes it seem like the bird is contemplating something deep. I took this picture in my room after school one night and edited it with Photoshop. In Photoshop, I cropped the image, made it brighter, and used the smudge tool to remove some noise on the surface of the table. I think it could be improved if I had taken the picture at a better angle that was a little higher up. I also wish the picture was a little clearer. Overall, though, I like the arrangement of the bird and the colored lighting, as well as the way the clock is visible in the background to show that it’s late at night.

This is a great photo. I like how the bird sparkles from the light, and how about half of the picture is bright, and the other half is dark. I feel like the lighting is perfect, not too soft, but not too harsh. The colors work really well in this photo. JN-HHS
I really like the colors that come from the reflection of the bird. They come off as very cool and pretty. I also feel like the lava lamp and the digital clock in the background brings it a sense of realism.
Great picture! I love all the diffrent colors and how they compliment each other. I love the how dim the brightness is in this photo to really make the subject pop out.

The main subject is in focus, but it’s a bit of a “soft” focus. I think it would be better with a sharper focus, but I understand that that’s really hard to do in a setting with very limited light. I like all of the bright and vivid colors because they contrast nicely with the dark background. The photo has a nice tonal range between the dark and light areas of the photo. I feel like this photo gives a sort of bold feel, like the bird is vibing at a night party.
CL - HHS. The top of the bird is really out of focus. The bird is very pretty and the shot has really good composition, but maybe a better angle or less camera shake could have helped the clarity. I also think this photo could have been improved if the digital clock had been cropped out. It is a little distracting from your main subject. This photo gives off a wondrous, whimsical night time feel. I like this photo because of the beautiful bird and really creative lighting!
