I boosted the contrast and saturation to help define and bring out the colors. I also boosted the sharpness and the definition. I did this to make the fainter lines in the flower more visible and pop out. I would love to go back and take some more pictures with some better clarity and change the aperture to help keep the focus in the foreground.
Cori J - Smokey
It was taken at my house on September 2nd. I edited it on iPhoto. I used the enhance feature, used the fade to get it to the color that is is now. Jason R- Sunset
This photo is called Sunset. I took it just before 8:00 pm at the top of the St. Louis Arch. I took this with my Nikon camera. Since the city was dark, I did not want to brighten the exposure and ruin the sunset, so I set the exposure down, and raised the contrast and saturation, and to bring out the detail in the clouds, I raised definition. I think this picture would be better if I the zoom did not make the picture blurry, and that the sunlight had not made the foreground dark.
Justin N- Basketball Goal - Morning

I also feel that the details are really good in this picture, you can clearly see the wax dripping down the sides of the candles.

I took this picture with a Nikon D5000 SLR and edited it by amping up the contrast and brightening the image, further emphasizing he color of the picture. Shreya M- Pink Rose
This picture is of a pink rose with a lot of other bright green branches around it, more to the background. I took in my front yard on a recent sunny weekend. It describes me because I loves summer, and the blooming color that it brings; that's what this picture represents to me. I also really like the color pink, this is in fact my favorite shade of pink. I like the way the rose seems to stand out in the picture, but it isn't the only thing that the camera is focused on. It's also not very zoomed in, so the background has a kind of framing effect of the rose. To edit the picture, I enhanced it, saturated it, defined it, and changed the tint and temperature. I really like how the picture turned out.
