I shot this photo at my house in August 25th. I took it with my iPhone Xs. I edited it by putting a faded filter over it and by adjusting minor details. It could be better if some areas of the photo were not over-exposed.

Emaleigh S- Utah Beauty

This photo was taken in Utah over the summer where we stayed in Tipis for the night. It was taken with my iPhone XS and it edited it using VSCO filters. I made the image darker and I added grain to the picture as well as enhancing the colors and sharpness. The image would be better if the tipi was outlined a little more and more visible, but I made it look like shadows on purpose. Overall, I think this picture is pretty cool.

Abby G - Pink Sky

For the title of tis photo I just decided on ‘Pink Sky’. I took this photo in my backyard when I was messing around with my zoom. This was taken with my Nikon Coolpix l840. I edited this in photoshop by playing around with the vibrance, saturation, brightness, and contrast. I feel like the composition could have been better and the focus could have been better. I also feel like I could have waited a bit or moved to lessen the strength of the sun.

I took this picture in our religious center. It was evening time when I took this picture. It was taken from mu camera, Canon Rebel EOS T7. I increase the amount of definition. I change it to Skin tone. I decrease the contracting brightness.

Anna K- Detroit

This Photo was taken on an airplane from Detroit. It's one of my favorite photos. I really like the colors and vibes. To edit this I increase the brightness and colors since this was a night shot. I also evened out the tones a little more. The only thing I would change about this photo is the fuzziness.

EthanF - Lights

This image is called lights.  I took it in my backyard, and I edited it by increasing the contrast and decreased brightness of the background.  I like this image because it was a challenge to get the line to come out as well as it did.  I took the image with my Nikon Easyshare z740.  I would have liked the image better if the line came out straighter.

Ethan N - Three Points

This was taken on a trail near my house. It was taken on October 16th. It was taken with my Nikon camera. I brightened the photo and added shadows. It would me better if I could make the leaves darker and the tree lighter.

Mitchell C - Untitled

This was taken in a park area September 21 and I took it with my 6d Canon camera body and used a 85mm 1.8. to shoot this image. I converted this image to a black and white to and drama and affect. There is a lot of height in this image and when I was editing this image I tried adjusting the crops but I found that it was the most visually appealing and interesting at the height that it was at. The background was created by lowering my aperture. I feel that the subject slightly blends into the background and that is probably due to it being a black and white. I also think that her eyes are a little dark and could have possibly lightened them a bit when I was editing it but overall I really love this image!

Clay K- Untitled

This was taken on my deck. It was taken with my Nikon d5000. It was taken at dawn on a partly cloudy day. I edited it by adding a red hue to the background, softened the background, darkened the shadows and added a multicolor fade filter onto the lenses of the glasses. It could be better if there was less bright colors and if it was more sharp.

Alana W- Downtown

The title of this image is downtown, it was taken in Downtown Birmingham on September 24, 2019. It was taken with my Canon Rebel T6 and I edited this image by enhancing it, I added the fade filter, adjusted the light and color, sharpened it, added definition, and gave the image a bit of noise reduction to give it a nice grainy approach. It could be better if I had cropped out the tree on the end or took a similar shot without the tree.

Bryson S - Sommarhöst

The name of the picture means “Summer Fall”, and represents a transition from summer to autumn. I took this image early in September, after bringing my camera on a walk. I found this bridge on one of the trails, and it seemed like the perfect place to take a picture. I used a Canon DSLR on a tripod to take the picture. To edit the picture, I used a channel mixing layer on photoshop to convert the green on the right side of the picture to the autumn colors.

Destiny P.-Disney Pyramid

I took this at Disney in December at Animal Kingdom. They were doing an African dance when my family and I were walking by. I didn’t edit this. I took it with my Sony camera. I think it looks great the way it is but if I could have gotten the whole pyramid of the dancers I would have loved that.

This image was taken a few weeks ago at Samford. I took this with my iPhone 8 plus. I edited this image by enhancing the colors and replacing some of them. I also experimented with the brightness in this photo. I, personally, really like the way this image turned out. I love the colors in this picture.

Kilee M - Cold Mornings

The title of this photo is “Cold Mornings”. This photo was taken on the morning of October, 29th. It was taken outside my house looking out at my bus stop. It was taken with my phone since I was on my way to my bus stop. I edited it by making it a bit darker and making the blue of the fog a bit more saturated. It could be better if it wasn’t as blurry and pixilated.

I was in the rid and the view was really cool so I tell myself let me take a picture.I took this Picture from my iPhone camera.I remember that it was almost sunset.I edit this photo by change the color and make it darkness and make the sky kinda looks like kinda pinkish.I really love this photo :)

Jayla F- Fake Love

Fake love Is the title of this photo. This was taken in my house in my bathroom it was taken with my I phone XR . I changes the color  to a red almost pink and uncolored my hand but left it cooled in the mirror . I thunk it would look way better if I didn’t have a gap in between my fingers.

Ali H- Creativity

This photo is called Creativity because makeup gives people a way to express their creativity. I edit his photo by lightening the photo up and adding more color to the photo. By lightening the photo it enhanced the glitter shades and gave them more than what was already there. I could made this photo better if I added more make up products than just an eyeshadow palette to build off of the idea of creativity.

Destiny P- Watercolor

I took this at my house and it is of a water bottle that my brother put oil, water and coloring in. I took it on October 1, 2019 for the Night and Day project. I took the picture with my Sony camera. I opened it in Photoshop and started messing around with the photo. I edited it by changing the lighting. I then changed the color of the liquid just a little section at a time. Then I used the smudge tool and moved the colors around the photo. I feel like if I could have made the top of the bottle more visible it would be better. Something I think people should know is to just have fun. The pictures don’t all have to be a specific way, experiment.

The name of this image is called My Road. It was taken at my home sometime in August of 2019 and it was taken with my Canon Powershot. I didn’t edit this picture but it could probably be better if I increased the sharpness of it.

Jaiya D- Family Faces

The title is “Family Faces” and it was taken September 21 at my brothers wedding. it was taken with my Canon 7i and 18-55 m lens. I edited it by increasing the contrast and using flash so that it can mainly focus on my mother and brother. It could have been better if I would have cropped the picture so the remaining people wouldn’t be in the picture, which would keep them as the main focus. This was the first wedding out of all of my siblings, and all my siblings were involved in the wedding.

I took this photo in clearwater during the summer. It was a pretty good view from where I was, so I just did it. I actually like this picture a lot its one of my best shots.

 This Photo was taken  when I went to Washington DC. I took this picture with my phone and using portrait camera. To edit this photo I used adjust and gave a little bit of brilliance and gave a little bit of contrast. This picture could be better if it would be taken a little bit more  farther. I went to Washington DC because I had a religion event at this day.

The title of this photo is Mr. You Want a Cookie.  It took this when I was chilling with my friends at home. I took it with my iPhone 6 plus. What I did to edit this photo was to darken up to the room. It didn’t want much detail in his face so I bought up the definition of the photo. I think the photo would had been better if there was better lighting in the room. Before the room was too warm it had a lot of orange in it thats why I had to darken the room.

Savannah P-R- Smile

The title of this selected image is smile. The reason this photo is named smile is because this is one of the only photos of my best friend smiling. This was taken last school year outside the new band room. I took this with my phone and I edited this by increasing everything in the light portion of the photos app except I decreased exposure and highlights. I also increased saturation, edges, and falloff. I think I did the best I could have done with this photo.

The title of this photo is “Maggie”. This picture was taken in my kitchen around dinner time. It was taken with my Dad’s Canon EOS Rebel T5i. I edited this picture by touching up my dog’s face and adding light to the picture. I could have taken out my feet and tried to make the picture a little less blurry, to make it better.  I love this picture because it is of my dog!!

This photo is called “Friends Are Worth Sharing A Dog House With”. I took this picture at my friends’ house. I took it using my iPhone 7. I edited it by using the chrome filter and increasing the brightness. It could be better if I increase the brightness.

Trey B- Sun Reflection

My title for this image is, Sun Reflection, and I took the image on 27 Aug, 2019 with my Canon camera. For this image, I didn’t make any edits since it already had high definition.
It could’ve been better perhaps if it was less centered it would have more going on, rather than just having the sun’s reflection and a few trees. This image isn’t exactly my best work, but it's a start to improving myself as time goes on.

The title of the image is called “The Last Light.” This was taken in the bathroom in August 2019. This image was taken with a Canon camera. I had added a fade filter to this image and change the lighting of the picture. The way I can make it better is by maybe changing some of the things that I had edited within this picture, for example, the filter I used can be a big difference for the photo. Another thing I could change is the lighting of the picture.

 This picture is called ‘River’. This picture was taken ivy the front door of my house. It was taken at night but it was taken inside so the lighting was good. This picture was taken with a Nixon Coolpix A10. I edited this picture in many ways. I cropped this picture to focus more on rivers face. That is the cats name. I thought this picture did not need a filter since the lighting was good. It could have used a little bit more lifting but it could have also used a small filter. In this image is my stepbrothers cat. He is very mean and he likes to play with this small Ball and he likes to carry it in his mouth. He is an American /shorthair and he is 2 years old.

The title of this image is Fillmore I named it this because it is the same model as the stoner car from the movie cars. It was taken at Rosemary Beach at night. I took it with my iPhone and edited it by turning the colors up a bit. It could be better if I used a better camera and got a better angle. Overall I like how this image turned out because this car looks pretty cool.
