Germaine W - The Sky's Purple

 This image that I took is named “The Sky’s Purple”. I took this picture on my iPhone 15 Pro on Sep 23, 2026 at my house. I edited the image on Photoshop by creating a layer of the sky, making sure to leave my house out of said layer. Then I messed with the hue and saturation of the sky layer until it turned a dreamy purple.  I feel like I could have made the roof of my house blend in more with the sky because there is an unwanted  line on top of the roof that highlights where I edited the sky.

Eden M - Curiosity

I took this picture on October 4th. It was taken inside a flower pot with a Smiski figure being the subject. I used my Nikon Coolplix L310 with a tripod. I edited this picture by lowering the contrast, increasing the dehaze, and adding a blue photo filter. The light source I used for this picture was the sun casting through the window. I believe this picture could be better if there was more distinguished color coming in from the window. I enjoyed taking pictures of my little guys in different lighting and in different perspectives doing many different things. I liked learning how to properly use and adjust my camera to get the results I desired. Something I’d like to change would be more distinguishable greenery.

Bear E - Game Time

 This picture is called Game Time. It was taken before a hoover football game during warmups. It was taken in the upper broadcasting booth at the Met. I took it with my Canon M50 Mark II, and I edited it making it black and white. I also made a couple masks over the stadium to make it not as harsh and added some grain to give it a vintage texture. I think it would be better if it was a bit brighter.  

Krina P- Fall

 This picture is called Fall. This picture was taken at a wedding I went to and I took it outside the hotel rooms where there was a big river. I turned the brightness and color down to make it more Fall themed.

Munassar A - Hoover’s Place for America’s Students

 The title I chose for this image is “Hoover’s Place for America’s Students”. I chose this title because it shows down below the students, and on top, it shows the American Flag. I took it in the beginning of the first period at 8:24 on September 15, 2026. I took it with my Apple iPhone SE (3rd generation). I edited it by raising up the color, and sharpening the edges. It would’ve been better if the flag was shown more clearly. 

Julia P- The Little European Boutique

 This picture was taken in Rovinj, Croatia Europe June 11th. This picture was taken with my I-phone 12. I edited it by turning down the light, to Brilliance .49, Exposure 0, Highlights -.82, Shadows 0.67, Brightness -0.75, Contrast 0.47, Black point .13, I turned up the color to Saturation 0.41, Vibrance -0.54, and Cast 0. I turned down the curves and the Vignette to Strength 0.10, Edges 0.22, and Falloff 0.69. If I could have added more color I think it would make it better. I took this photo while walking through the city of Rovinj. I have walked through this city many times over the years and that day I noticed there was a new boutique, I thought it looked pretty next to the ocean so I decided to snap a photo before continuing on my way to my Aunt’s apartment.
