This image is titled “Waffles”. It was taken at the Caldwell Mill Rd. Waffle House at 9:10 P.M. on October 26. 2026. This was taken on my iPhone 16 Pro. The camera was set to RAW 48mp, 24mm ƒ1.78, ISO500, with 1/30s shutter speed. I applied a Kodak Portra 160 film filter to it, and really didn’t edit much else. I think it could be better if there were something else interesting or bright that I could have made polarized, or if I had a polarization lens for my phone camera.

This is really cool! The grain definitely adds to the warm, nostalgic atmosphere. I wonder though if it would help to bring the subject slightly out of center to make the image more appealing.
