This image is titled ‘Heel-clicking”. It is a composite image, and I took both of the photos I edited together with my iPhone 14. I took the part with my dad in his childhood house, and I took the background image on my bus passing through a neighborhood during intense fog. It’s hard to tell the background is foggy because I added a hint of purple and applied a colored pencil filter to match the mood. I edited the part with my dad by sharpening to an extent, saturating the colors with cooler hues, and adding colored silhouettes behind him to convey the energy of the heel-click. The primary-colored silhouettes are blended in such a way that when they overlap each other, they make secondary colors. There’s also a drop shadow behind my dad to make him really pop off the page!
I don’t think this image could be any better than it is because it fits the vibe that my dad gives off as an avid skater and skateboard collector.

I really like how you added the colors as effects. It adds personality to the photo and makes in look like he was floating. -HHS AG
This picture is so fun and cool! The editing is really nice and I love the color pops.
Cool picture. I like the editing in the background, the shadow, and the coloring
This is one RADICAL photo. The colors of the layers really give off that 1990s/early 2000s aesthetic. I would've went with more pink and purple than just yellow, green, blue and red.
I really like this image. I didn't know your dad was heel clicking because of the seriousness of his expression, I would have thought he was doing a skateboard trick haha. I like that you culturally nodded to him by adding his childhood house in the background. And your color silhouettes really make your image pop!!!! Great job.
