Ethan S - Vintage Beauty

This image is entitled “Vintage Beauty” for the early 1900’s look of the photo. I took this picture in Mr. Rigsby’s studio or the portraits assignment. I took it with Mr. Rigsby’s camera as well. I edited it using the Nik 6 Silver Efex for the vintage effect of the image. I think it could be better if I spent a little more time fine-tuning the filter adjustments but otherwise I think it turned out well. This picture is of my friend Guliana, she helped me with the portraits by being the subject for many of them.

This is a great photo! You definitely nailed that vintage vibe that you were going for. You could really fool someone with this, nice job.

I love how this photo shows the texture of an old photograph. The color makes adds to what it’s supposed to be. I think you did a great job on this.

Ooo I like this photo! The exposure settings are very nice. I like the vintage vibe that the overexposure brings. I also like where you have placed the girl, along the rule of thirds. It has a very old-fashioned, hesitant feel. Overall, a very nice photo!! -CL HHS.

this picture looks really good. i like how she's posed to the point you can't see a smile anything. especially with how in the old times it. back then photos use to take long enough to the point you couldn't hold a point for to long.

I really love this photo! The only thing I would change would be getting rid of the wrinkles in the background! Good work!

I like the shadow in the back how it is straight out and I also like the filter you used to get that old look there aren't that many photo that are taken and changed that way. you did a good job
