Anna G- Shrouded
The title of this image is Shrouded. This image is a composite so it is made up of multiple images. The portrait was taken at my house a few weeks ago for the portrait project and the pictures of the hands were both taken in my backyard towards the beginning of the school year. All photos were taken with my Nikon D5100 camera. I edited this photo by making the portrait grayscale and overlaying the first picture of the hand over my face, creating a kind of shadow/silhouette of the hand over my face. I duplicated the layer with the original portrait and overlaid the second hand so the hand had the same colors and image as the portrait below it. Then, I duplicated the colored hand and moved it to a new layer and positioned it so it looked like part of the original image and lined up with the grayscale portrait. I think this photo could be better if the colored hand didn’t have such a sharp edge and if the photo was overall brighter because it ended up looking a lot darker in the final version than it did while I was working on it on the desktop.
Caroline L - Desolation.
This is “Desolation.” It was taken in the studio at the school in January. It was taken with my NIKON camera. I edited it by making it black and white, painting some of the background, and removing some distracting light on her hair. I think it could be better if her hair looked a little neater (in the shot, she’s stunning always.)
Andrew C- Ducks
The title of the photo is Ducks as it is a collections of my ducks. It was taken on the top of my cabinet at night it was taken with my phone and wasn't edited. Could have tried to get more of it less blurred but I like it
Caroline S- Short n' Sweet
The title of this image is Short n’ Sweet because that is the name of the album playing in the photo. It was taken on my camera in my room and I did not edit it. The photo would be better if there was not so much dust on the record player.
Rosalyn L- Tulips
The title of this image is just Tulips. This Picture was taken at my house on Saturday, February 22, 2025. This picture was taken on my phone. I edited the walls because I had a Chromebook and posters in the corner, so I took them out. Then there was water on the silver parts of the window, so I took them out so they could look smooth. Then where the tulips were on was a bit dirty, so I cleaned it and smoothed it out. It could have been better if the lighting was different and if it was taken from a different angle.

Sadie S- Through the Lens
This image is called “Through the Lens”. It was taken near the choir room during 2nd period. It was taken with a Canon T7. This is the raw image with no editing. It would be better if I put a filter on it.
Joshua N- In the Truck
The title of my image is ‘In the Truck’. I took it in my basement with my Nikon D5100 in late August. I edited it by adding a cool filter, messing with the lighting, and adding a vignette. I think that if the shelves weren’t in the back and if the hats colors were better that the overall picture would be better.
Laura H- Statue
This photo is titled Statue because it is of a statue. I took this picture over the summer because I really liked the statue so I took a photo of it. I used different color tools to edit this photo as well as the crop tool.
River B- Banana
The title is banana. It was taken a while ago in Mr. Rigsby's studio. It was taken with one of his cameras. I don't think it can get better. banana

Ethan S - Vintage Beauty
This image is entitled “Vintage Beauty” for the early 1900’s look of the photo. I took this picture in Mr. Rigsby’s studio or the portraits assignment. I took it with Mr. Rigsby’s camera as well. I edited it using the Nik 6 Silver Efex for the vintage effect of the image. I think it could be better if I spent a little more time fine-tuning the filter adjustments but otherwise I think it turned out well. This picture is of my friend Guliana, she helped me with the portraits by being the subject for many of them.
Sarah S - Heel-clicking
This image is titled ‘Heel-clicking”. It is a composite image, and I took both of the photos I edited together with my iPhone 14. I took the part with my dad in his childhood house, and I took the background image on my bus passing through a neighborhood during intense fog. It’s hard to tell the background is foggy because I added a hint of purple and applied a colored pencil filter to match the mood. I edited the part with my dad by sharpening to an extent, saturating the colors with cooler hues, and adding colored silhouettes behind him to convey the energy of the heel-click. The primary-colored silhouettes are blended in such a way that when they overlap each other, they make secondary colors. There’s also a drop shadow behind my dad to make him really pop off the page!
I don’t think this image could be any better than it is because it fits the vibe that my dad gives off as an avid skater and skateboard collector.
Ashlyn G -Eggy
I titled this image eggy because of the egg that she is cracking and I thought it was a funny name. This was taken during the portrait assignment at my friend's house while she was baking. It was taken with my canon rebel and I edited it using the tinting and swatches. It could be better if I used more color swatches and added more diverse colors.
Angel M- Black & White
I took this picture in November. It was taken with a Canon camera. I edited this picture by making it black and white because the original colors looked dull. This image would have been better if there was more detail in the background.

Angel GB- Untitled
This image was taken at my home. I don't remember when exactly. I edited it by adjusting contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.. The image could be better with improvement, e.g. better lighting, framing, or focus. I chose this subject because subject. Overall, I feel like the image doesn't capture anything.
Irais B-C - Mystic Dreamscape
This image combines four photos taken in different locations on my iPhone 16. The main one, being the background is originally a picture of my bedroom with my lights on. The one on top is the shadow of my partner. The jellyfish inside the shadow are from a lamp I have, and the one on top is a picture of the sky. I edited them all by defining the colors and saturating them. I also used some filters from the filter gallery and smudged the background. I feel that I could’ve made it better by defying the shape of the shadow some more and making the jellyfish fit inside. And maybe I should've made the opacity lighter in the sky picture. Other than that I like the way the colors and picture in general turned out.
Liam D- Wonderland
The is Wonderland. It is a composite so I don’t know exactly when any of the photos were taken but around Dec 2024 and Jan 2025. It was taken by my Iphone and cannon. I edited it with photoshop, changing a lot, mostly the hue but also put a gradient on it to make it look creepier. I wish I had more holes to put my face in. My dogs name is Jaxi :3
Chandler D- Disney
The Title of This image is Disney. This photo was taken in Orlando Florida last year. I took this photo with my iPhone 14. To edit this picture I increased some of the details in the picture and enhanced the colors on the buildings. This photo could be better if I increased the brilliance.
Evelyn J- By the Pond
This image is called “By the Pond,” and it was taken on October 9, 2024, at a pond by the Hoover Library. I took it with my iPhone 13. I also took a photo of my friend at the pond. This photo has no editing.
Milo B - Clouds on the Horizon
The title of this picture is Clouds on the Horizon. It was taken on February 7th at my grandparents house in McCalla. It was taken with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I did not edit this because of how the clouds reflected off of the water, but if I were to edit it. I would take out some of the trees and add AI to fill it in to make sure the picture is accurate to how it originally looked.

Ellie B- Night at the Game
The title of my image is “Night at the Game”. It was taken on August 20th, 2024 at the Met. It was taken with my phone. I retouched some of the spots and enhanced the color slightly. It could be better if I cropped it better. I took this picture of my friend at dusk.
Emily C- Silhouette
This photo is named “silhouette. This was taken at my neighborhood park in October. I took this photo on my Canon camera. When editing this all I did was lower the exposure so the tree and leaves would really pop. To make this image better i would increase the vibrance so the sunset could pop even more.
Nora M- Bikes
The title of my image is Bikes. This photo was taken in Florida during the summer of 2023. I took this photo with an Iphone 13 pro. I edited this picture by increasing the exposure, vibrance, and saturation. I feel like this photo could be better if I took it at a better angle.
Daniel K- Capitol
This image is called “Capitol” and I took it while we stopped in Tallahassee coming back from Sarasota sometime during this past summer (don’t remember the exact date, though). I used this image for an assignment a while back, so I don’t quite remember all the details of editing, but I know I adjusted lighting with saturation, brightness, luminance, etc as well as added slight color grading and some sharpening. The image could be better if I were to remove certain elements such as the building in the back or the sign out front but I hadn’t yet learned how to do so at the time of editing. Also, if I had visited at a different time, there wouldn’t be that ugly green-ish fence around the building; they were going through some construction when I took the picture.
Lily D - Baseball Field Sunset
This image is called “Baseball Field Sunset.” It was taken at my brother's baseball tournament around May. It was taken with an iPhone 15 pro. I edited it by turning up the vibrance and exposure. It could be better if I took off the dust filter and made it look less edited.

Kais C- Aspired Mirror
Aspired mirror, I took it in my house upstairs of a mirror my parents put up. I took the picture all of them with my iphone 13 pro. I added multiple photos onto this that I’ve taken before with the phone i added them all blending them together.I would change how abrupt it changes and also how bright the colors are.
Mazzy C- Bridge
This photo is titled Bridge. It is a picture I took while walking with my friend on a bridge in Homewood. It was taken on February 1st, 2025. I like this picture because of the colors and I think the lighting is cool. I did not edit this picture but I think it would be better if I did. I would have maybe brightened it up a little.
Hayden C - Winkie Face!!
The title of this image is “Winkie Face!!” It was taken on February 6 with my canon camera. It was taken at the barn I work at and it of a lesson pony named Buttercup. It was taken later in the day when the sun was starting to go down, giving everything that golden color that everyone loves. I was attempting to get her ears forward to take a cute photo, but I was struggling until this moment and didn’t find out until later that she had one eye closed. At first I didn’t like it and thought it’d ruined the photo but I quickly fell in love with the funny face. I edited the photo by deepening the shadows and bringing down the highlights, along with making everything warmer. Her eyes water a lot, making the corners of them look gunky and gross, so I edited out that too along with brightening the iris of her only visible eye.
Chloe C- Evil Kitty
This picture is titled, “Evil Kitty”. I took this picture while visiting a pet store and spotted this cat. I felt like he was judging me, so I decided to make that more evident in this picture. I took this picture with my phone camera. I mainly edited it by making the image all black and white (ish), but keeping and highlighting on its green eyes. I like the picture, but I probably should have made the yellow back wall black and white as well. Besides that, I like this picture a lot!
Kaitlyn W - God's Creation
The title of the is God's Creation, I took from my backyard. This picture didn't take to much to edit it. I just concentrated the trees to make them look thicker. I also cropped out my neighbors house to just focus on the scenery.

Jaxson L- Correct Perspective
I got the name from when I did the project. It was taken on July 4th in 2023 on my iPhone 14. I made it so the lights are more controlled but turn up the sharpness to make it so the fireworks pop more. I could have removed the car a little more.
Finley B- Look Up
This artwork is titled “Look Up.” It merges three distinct photographs from my Composite Assignment. The primary image was captured in my neighborhood during the summer using my Nikon camera. I carefully edited it to ensure that each photo was visible while maintaining a sense of realism. There were opportunities to brighten certain areas to enhance the overall impact of the image.
Reagan M - Colorful Capture
The title of this photo is “Colorful Capture”. This picture was taken outside in my backyard. It was taken with an iPhone 11. I edited this image by taking three separate photos. I then combined them by erasing the edges to make the pieces fit together. It could be better if the pool of bubbles blended better with the background.
