This image is called Aubie, because it is the name of my dog. I took this photo with a Nikon D5100 in August on my side porch. I edited this mainly by adjusting the colors and making it warmer to make his fur more orange because that's what he actually looks like. I applied a warm filter, but didn’t really make any massive adjustments. I think it would look better if his eyes didn’t look lopsided and if I was a little farther back, but I like it just the same.

I like this photo a lot. The subject being entirely in focus eliminates distractions from the viewers eye, allowing them to fully appreciate this wonderful specimen in all its glory. Also, it's funny.
