Anna G- The Star Gazer.

This title is this image is “The Star Gazer”. This photo was taken in my backyard at night a few weeks ago with my Nikon D5100 camera. I edited this photo by increasing the brightness and especially increasing the brightness of the stars and then using the Analog Efex to make the stars look like shooting stars. I think this photo could be better if my house was not in the frame.

This picture immediately caught my attention just because of the way the lights flash around the subject. I really like how the subject is tilted to the left; it looks like the star gazer has raised their arms to control the pathways of the stars. Amazing job with the storytelling, colors and mood!!

This picture is really cool! The way it's blurred both draws attention to the subject and gives the photo a mysterious or magical feeling. I like the color scheme, too. MB- HHS

This is amazing! I love how the stars are racing through the sky. It almost looks like the star gazer is traveling through time! I really like the balance of light and dark areas. I would definitely frame this! -VS HHS

This picture honestly wowed me. The light wrapping around the arms and the effect of motion in the stars is great. I can't see much wrong with this picture, though one thing I'll say is the light near the head would look a little nicer if it went over the top of the head. Otherwise, great work. - E.S. - HHS

CL- HHS. This picture really caught my attention! It almost feels 3D, a very cool effect. The exposure is really nice, bright in all the right places. The lines that the stars create is a really amazing effect, like I can really see them moving. The mood in this picture is powerful, like she's taking on the stars themselves. It's so cool it makes me feel awestruck. I really really love this photo!!
