Maggie P - Get Fresh

This photo is titled Get Fresh because that was the name of the event at which I took this photo. It was for the culinary academy at RC3, which I’m in, and was about ways to eat healthy without eating only ‘healthy’ foods. One of our teachers made homemade pesto and pasta, and I got this photo of him plating it. To edit the image, I tried to get rid of the grain due to how dim the room is and did some color grading to bring out the yellows and greens. I think while editing the brightness and contrast I accidentally made the pasta on the plate too bright, but besides that, I love how this turned out.

This picture is very good! The focus is very sharp and it is easy to see the subject. Next time try to turn up the vibrance but overall it is very good. LD-HHS

I love this picture! It looks very professional so it caught my eye right away. I do agree with the pasta on the plate being too bright but all and all this photo is very impressive.

I'm loving this photo! My favorite food is being plated. This photo looks very crisp, and professional. I also like how dim the place is it sets sort of a date night type of vibe. The place looks dim but yet the food looks like it has light on it. I see nothing that needs to be changed in this photo. Great Job!

Curse you!! I haven't eaten all day and this image makes me so hungry. But this is seriously a well executed photo and the composition is excellent. Nice job.

I love this so much. its is a making me so hungry just looking at it. there is so many things i love about this like how dark it is I but on the other hand I will say is to make the food less dark just so it stands out more.

I absolutely love the detail in this picture! The only thing I would do is make this picture more vibrant, but other than that great work!
