This image is called Dice Roll. It was taken in the studio with my Nikon D3300. I edited this photo by increasing the brightness and decreasing the contrast. I also touched up the background by painting over anything that wasn’t black. I think this photo could have been better if there were a more noticeable difference between the background and the table. Same with the dice and the background. I wish the backdrop were grey or white instead.

The sharpness of the dice makes this picture really stand out. The choice to have a dark background was a smart one, it makes the dice pop. The purple of the dice also adds to the popping of the dice. This was a great job on the Action Assignment!

The sharpness here is great! I think getting the dice that crisp probably came at the cost of the background being really dark. If there had been more light in the room or different camera placement, I bet you could have gotten a bit more of a noticeable difference between the background and table. One other thing is I think this would look really nice with more dice! With only six, there's not a lot filling out the hand or the rest of the empty space in the rest of the photo. I know I'm being really picky but thats because this is already really nice! You did a really good job capturing the dice, especially working with really small, fast moving objects in a low light environment!
