The title of this photo is Neon Loops. This picture was taken on September 25, 2021, and on my driveway at night. It was taken with a Nikon D50, and using a tripod to keep it stable. I edited this using photoshop, and decided to do a monochrome black and white image to make the neon blobs stand out. Then, using a line tool, I created the neon blobs, and erased bits of the shape to give it the appearance that it wraps around the hands. I feel like the erasing could have been better, because the edges of where the blobs were erased are a bit choppy and noticeable.

Hey, I love this photo! I think the main subject is very bright and colorful and it works perfectly with the way that it is focused. I also think the lighting of the neon loop is perfect and contrasts well with the black and white background. I think the photo would be better if it was a little less dark and the light going around your hands was colored. This photo makes me happy but sad at the same time. In my opinion, it's saying that life sucks but there is always light in the dark. In conclusion, I love this photo and it is almost perfect!

Seeing this post for the first time left me in awe- to say the least. The bright purple clashing with the monochrome background was a stellar choice. How you managed to capture the stillness of everything besides the spiraling purple light makes it impossible to look away. The exposure is really nice and so is your focus on your hands. I really like the way you chose the colors for this photo and how you made it black and white so the lights would stand out more. The focus is very clear and you can see the subject illuminated well. It is also very well balanced with the amount of light, there isn't too much or too little light. Great Job! - EB
I think that more colors should have been incorporated in this picture. The violet is very pretty, but I think of the other lights were colored it would have made the picture a little more interesting. Also the balance between light and dark is a little off. There is very harsh darkness and very harsh light, but not a lot of grays. I think if the background was a little lighter it would be better. However I really love this photo and the how detail oriented it is. I love how the hands are brought into focus by the lights. I would definitely hang this up!
This photo is gorgeous. I love the spark of color with the pink neon loop. I think its great how you focused the image on the hands and not the body. I think it might have been better if the fairy lights weren't there so that way the eye goes directly to the neon. I also think if the hands were lighter so that way not only the palm is lighten up.
In this image there is no over or under exposure. The main subject that I think it is is in focus and not blurry. the light of the picture is soft. And I like the image overall. 10/10
This picture looks very cool. I really like the lighting on this photo, and how it is focused toward the center of the photo. I also like the color on this photo.. It is very cool how the pink on the light is the only color in this picture. The mood that this makes me feel is kind of happy, because it is a fun picture. This photo is definitely a keeper.

1. That's really cool! The Depth of Field is really good. I like the bright hands in the front and the fade to black in the background.
2. The neon loop is really cool and stands out. Something that could be interesting is a little bit more color in the hands. The whole image is very dark and the neon loop is the only bit of color in the whole thing, which is why a little bit of color around there would be a nice addition.
3. As a whole, I really like this image and the lighting!

I really like how the string lights in your hands are bright and colorful. I think that the exposure is a little under exposed and could be a little brighter around your hands. The color and tonal range is very dark and bruiting, but it makes for a good aesthetic. The I feel like the focus on the camera though is a little too focused on the lights and shadows and not the object (your hands) itself. I do like how the string lights are not just in one straight line or jumbled up and tangled, but in a curved nice fashion. I like this photo a lot and love that the one neon light is pink and the rest of the photo is monochrome.

This is such a cool photo! I love how the image is focused! I love how dark the black background is because it makes the neon light pop! I think this photo is perfectly balance because what make this picture great is how bright and colorful the lights are and how dark the background is. This photo makes me very happy because it shows that even though the world is very dark there is always light. I totally love this photo because its very pretty and cute!

This picture is so pretty! I love how you made the image black and white and made the light soft so it focuses on the hands. The lighting makes me focus right on the center of the picture which is great. I love how the neon line wraps around the hands and brings a pop of color to the photo. I love this picture and think that it is perfect this way. This makes me feel like there is still light in the dark and to never give up. I overall love this photo!
