Alyshan A - Cup and Book Thing

This image is of a coffee mug that I use for holding my pens and pencils. I put a book next to it. I put the two objects by each other because I had to write an essay on the book. I think the coffee mug gives a really good context as to what is going on in the photo. It makes for a good still life photo I think.

I like the overall setup of this image. However, the only things I suggest is to take multiple pictures so that you can choose the one that has the best quality, as well as putting a filter on it (whether it be black and white, film grain, etc) to really tie it all in together. Other than that, it's not a bad picture!
