Katie J- Parakeet

The title of this image is Parakeet. This photo was taken at the zoo at the bird feeding station over the summer. It was taken with a Nikon 3100. I went into photoshop and manipulated the brightness and contrast of the image. I also sharpened it and worked with the blue and red tones of the subject. It could be better if it were focused more.

I like this picture. The bird is very bright and I like how it is not perfectly centered. The lightness of it is very neat. The colors of the bird really stand out and it is in good focus.

This picture is pretty,I see the great choices that you exacted in this picture. It actualy doesn't look like there are any edits, but I see contrast. Good focus, good contrast, brightness, and imputation. Good job Good job, beautiful birdie picture.

I really like this image, I wish the birds tail was in the picture more because it looks slightly cut off. I do love the colors of the bird, they pop very well. The picture doesn't look heavily edited which gives it a realistic feel. I like that the background is blurred out also. Nicely done

I really like this photo. It has a shallow depth of field that isolate the subject from the background. The colors are really vivid and pop out of the image. Overall, I like this photo a lot. The colors and the composition help make this image stand out from the rest.

I really love the colors on the bird and how it differs from the rest. I like the blurred background and how the bird is looking away from the camera. I think a cool edit would be to make everything but the bird black and white to give a greater emphasis on the bird.

Love this! The exposure is awesome. There is just enough light and dark areas in this photo as well. There is a good in between of them. bright enough to make the colors pop and dark enough so that it is not too much. I really like this photo and to be honest I would be fine with hanging it on my wall.

I really like the color in this picture. The focus of the bird is so pretty because I can see the feathers clearly. I would hang this up on my wall.

I like the color contrasts and how bright the bird is. I also like the blurred background and how focused the bird is, it makes the bird and colors more central to the picture.

I like this picture because it's has more focus on the bird than anything else. I even like the colors on the bird.

This is a really good picture. I love how vibrant the colors of the bird are. The focus is also really good. I like how the backgrounds colors are so different from the bird that it creates a really nice contrast. The only thing I would do to change it is to make the background a little less blurry, but thats just a personal preference and this picture is fine as it is.

I like how the subject is really colorful and the colors in the background are more muted. This picture also has nice composition as you used the rule of thirds. I also like how you worked with a shallow depth of field. There is an amazing amount of detail in the bird's feathers. Great work.
