The picture i chose was a picture of my light in my room. I used a lot of editing and stuff like that. I like this picture because it show out the light and i made it like a purple or pink color.
Hey Michael! I love this photo... I love the look of the red light and how dark the picture is it gives a really haunting and gloomy look. The only thing I would change is I would have not put the vignette around it. Great picture!
While I do understand the goal of contrasting light and darkness, I think the editing could have been done more effectively. For starters, I would not have used the vignette feature. I think it creates an artificial, unprofessional aspect to the photo. In addition, I would have lowered the brightness of the lights so that the view can actually see the details of the light bulbs. Finally, I would have not darkened the ends of the fan.
I think it looks like a picture that my 8 year old cousin Joanne would edit on some pbs kids website. The white border looks like super out of place. The colors have potential to look kinda cool maybe if it was a lot more close up on the lamp. There's barely any details on the picture, the subject isn't really much in focus either. All the other effects distract from the subject. Lara M - HHS
I agree with Lara. The white vignette is very distracting and makes the photo look very childish. The red tint along with the pink takes away from the pleasure of the photo its self.
Dude... I love this photo. I really like the dark red glow, and it feels like I'm submerged in the photo. I also like how the white vignette points to the subject!!11!!!
