I took this at a spot I found that I like to sit at in the preserve a few months ago in March. I took it with my Nikon d60. I edited it in iPhoto during class. It could be better if more trees and the sky were also in the photo or if you could see more of the notebook, like the second page under the first which you can see the very bottom of. This picture is of me writing in my old journal which I enjoy writing in every night usually. I don’t really write about my day or specific people more of just my feelings and emotions of that day. It helps release some of my thoughts and helps me think of what i can do better the next day.

As a whole, I enjoy this image due to the sharp contrast of colors. The way the orange boots and blue writing contrasts with the natural green and grey from the surroundings is appealing. However, when the image is enlarged, I feel that too much of the image is out of focus. While I understand that the focus of the image is the writing, the blurriness of the rest of the photograph is bothersome to the eyes. Therefore, I would recommend to have the book in a softer focus.

Very cool! I love how you can see the writing and some of your Docs. Also, i love the green trees and moss in the background. If you changed anything, you could just maybe include more of the notebook and leave some of the ground out. But past that, this is great!!
I love this photo! The DOF looks like it was used perfectly. I think the depth of field would be considered deep because it is focused on the subject and blurry in the background. I think the dark and light areas are used just enough. The bright colors on the bottom of the picture really stand out so the dark colors aren't as noticeable. This picture seems to have a chilled mood.

I really love this picture, I just really love all the colors from the purple on the binder to the yellow shoes to the green trees. It is a little too out of focus but i kinda like that because it makes you focus more on the journal and the cursive handwriting. I wish that the journal was more centered but all in all I think its a really cool picture.

I like this picture a lot the focus is what makes this photo in my opinion. I like how all the focus is on the book and not the surrounding. This photo is very well balanced and I think it shows a good contrast between dark and bright colors. I would definitely put this photo on my wall. Jackson H.-HHS
I really like how the background is blurred because it focuses on the paper. I also really like how you made if off center a little bit. I think you tell a story of a great day here.
