Katie J- Double-Wattled Cassowary

The photo is submit is Double-Wattled Cassowary. I took this at the Birmingham Zoo on March 24, 2014. It was taken with a Nikon D3100 DSLR. I enhanced the color, and cropped it to give more focus to the bird. I also sharpened the picture and gave it more saturation.

I love this picture the colors and how close the bird is! I really like how the only thing in focus is the bird. I also like how the lighting looks on this picture, it's really balanced.

This is a great picture. I like the brightness of it and how the bird is in great focus. The bird is so close to us, which looks really good. The only thing I would have changed is where the subject is. I would have off centered the bird a little more.
