This photo was taken over Spring Break in Atlanta just outside the Georgia Aquarium. It was taken with my Nikon d80 and I did not edit this image at all. I left it the way it was because I just felt like it was amazing alone without the filters and manipulations. It’s a small piece of nature that shouldn’t be tampered with and I don’t feel like it needs any more or any less. This is one of my favorite images I’ve ever taken this year.

I really like this picture! Its nice how the front flowers are sharp and the back ground is blurry. It really captures the essence of spring, good job!

I love how the colors stand out and the other branches are blurry in the background.

Great shot! the lighting and aperture make this picture. The narrow depth of field draws you in and keeps the background from becoming distracting. The lighting is also amazing! It isn't too warm or too cool and the air is so clear. Having the light come in from the side and behind the flowers adds so much depth and complexity. love it!
