The title of this image is 11:59. I took this photo in September in my room. This photo was taken with my Canon Powershot SX540 HS. I edited this photo by cropping out a lot of the background and making edits to the brightness of the image. I think this image could have better if it were more clear or I wore a different shirt. The gray shirt sort of makes it look more grainy than it may be. The reason I titled this image 11:59 is because I wanted to take a photo that represented an experience many students have been through. Sometimes you don’t feel like doing work in class or you put something off and suddenly it's night time and you’re incredibly stressed out trying to get the assignment done before the notorious 11:59 deadline. In some of the other photos I took I think you can see that stress but in this one I think it more so showcases the regret and apathy towards finishing the assignment.

I love the deep meaning behind this picture. This is a constant struggle that teens are going through and you photographed it very well. I agree that you probably should've worn a different shirt but the grainy-ness could almost represent a static computer screen, which happens when they are broken. The emotions on your face create a feeling of distress and exhaustion which really add to the meaning behind this photo. I like how the camera is focused on your face and I think the lighting is well balanced. Great job!

I like how real this is. It truly shows what students do when they have a ton of work to do and how they chose to spend their time. There is a realness to post that picture to show people what you go through on what I'm guessing is a daily occurrence. There is almost a rawness to this picture that really captures how you get you work done. I do think the image would be a bit better if it were more clear. But overall it is a very impressive picture.

I really like this photograph and the meaning behind it. You did a great job of conveying emotion through it. The darkness on the edges of the picture and the light from the screen on your face focuses the image on you really well. I honestly don't think the color of the shirt is a problem because it reflects the color of the screen better when it's gray/white. I also like the use of the rule of thirds in the image.
Hey Maci! This picture is amazing, I have always been impressed by your academic ability and this is definitely a reflection of that. This picture has so much meaning behind it, you can really see a story just by looking at this image. At most I think the subject needs to be brightened slightly but other than that I think this picture is at its full potential. This image makes me want to put more thought and meaning into my pictures.

i like the photo it's very relatable, i like how the light shining out of the computer emits blues, purples, and maybe a hint yellows and violets. overall i think it's something i do everyday after school and work and most of the time im really tired. most students in high school experience depression or stress and can't function at night after a long day, most procrastinate. this picture really reflects teens lives when turning in assignments for school.
Love the picture and I could not think of a better title for it. I love how you get to illustrate the feeling of stress created by the pressure of finishing a hard assignment that is due by 11:59. I think that if you focus more on yourself and maybe crop a little bit more of the right side of the picture it will be better. The lightning is perfect in my opinion. Just with the little bit of light that comes from the computer makes the picture look awesome. You did a great job with the facial expression showing the big amount of stress. Totally love the picture.
I like how I can feel how true this really is and that theres a serious meaning behind it. The photo shows you the emotion of your face and what some people go through when trying to turn in school work at the last minute. There is also some great light and hues thats going on with the computer which is a nice touch. I personally feel like the image could be slight more centered. Overall I do really like this photo and the story it has to it.
I liked the image because It has a message. Almost every student knows that 11;59 deadline is sum serious especially when you're trying to rush it. I remember those days when I was trying everything to get my work done.Still having a little trouble now but its lowkey the reason I get good grades. love the photo and keep up the good work
