Trevor P- The Wild West

This image is called The Wild West and it was taken with my Nikon D 5500, this picture shows a close up of my Lucchese caiman boots. This was taken in my backyard and I had the boot placed down on a tree stump and I was laying in the grass to get a close up shot of it. I used the touchup tool in photoshop to clean up little marks and I used the burn tool to make the black steaks in the leather to appear darker as well with the shadows. I also used the dodge tool to make the light reflecting off the boot brighter. I honestly really like how this picture came out. If I could change anything I would say get more of the boot showing.

I really like this picture a lot one of my favorites I have seen. I love how the detail is like perfect and the patterns in the boot. It was very good lighting and the close up was perfect. I love the way you used the dodge tool to make the light brighter when reflecting off the boot. I would give this a 9 out of 10.

This photo stood out when looking on the blog. I really like how big of a difference there is, from really bright to really dark. I also enjoy how you can see very deep detail in each part of the image. I also like how you can tell there is a focus point and how it starts to get less focused throughout the rest of the image. -E.S

I really like this photo. I like the way the brown and the blue colors contrast on the boot.I also like how the colors are different in intensity and brightness. i think including more of the boot in the shot would have made it better.

I think this photo is beautiful. I really like how I can see the details on the boots. I also like the colors and how it helps with the details on the boots. When I first saw this photo I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a snake or something.

What an awesome picture! You did a very good job capturing the detail in the boot, and it's cool see all the creases and weathering on the boot. The lighting adds a nice blue color pop too. The only suggestion I would make is to actually crop the picture more, so that it's mostly just the pattern of the boot. Otherwise, nice job!

I love this image. It's beautiful. I wish the image wasn't as close up because it's hard to tell what it is. I love the colors though. I like how you can see all the different textures and grains.

I love this Image, I love the detail on it events it could have been better if it wasn't' too close because you can't tell what it is, I really like the color of it and the way you made the texture.

I love that you were so up close and focused on the little details. I really like that you cropped the image super close so that you could really see every little detail. I don't know if I would hang this on my wall but I still think it's awesome. -Elizabeth C. HHS
