Erik S-Nights of Key West

The title that I gave to the image I selected is “Nights of Key West”. Like the title states, I took this at a dock in Key West over the Summer of 2019. I took this image with my Google Pixel Xl (after adjusting a few of the camera’s settings to get the most effective image). I edited it by opening it up in Photoshop, where I used the “smart sharpen” tool to make the photo more sharp (I didn't take the photo on a tripod, so it came out  slightly blurry). On top of that, I had also adjusted the saturation of the photo so the blueness of the dark sky was more prominent. If I were to take this photo again, I would’ve taken it on a tripod so I wouldn’t have had to use the smart-sharpen tool in Photoshop.

I really like this picture. It is very relaxing to look at. I love the colors and how the lights on the dock aren't overbaring. Overall I think you did a really good job.

I think this is a good photo. I like the way the harsh shapes cut off abruptly further to the left of the image. It has good contrast and the warm and cold colors are good balancers. I wouldn't change anything about it.

I really like this picture! I think you did a very good job sharpening the image. I like that there is a contrast between dark and light. I like how the clouds have a soft look. The darkness kind of gives the trees and rocks a silhouette which is really nice. The different shades of blue really make this image stand out. I can't think of anything to change and you did a very good job.

I really like this picture! I love the colors in the picture, especially the blues and the yellow. Increasing the saturation was a good idea because it really brought out the deep colors in the picture. Even though you did not use a tripod, I could not tell. Sharpening the picture definitely helped because the picture have precise shapes which are not blurred. I can tell that your focus was the pier, but it was subtly introduced. You did a good job when putting the main object off to the side because it makes the picture more interesting. The only thing I would recommend you be to maybe crop off some of the clouds at the top of the picture to better focus on the pier. The water and lights gives your picture a sort of calming mood to it. I think you did a great job.

I love the exposure and the lighting of this photo! I also like how the house is not the center of the picture but still the focus of the picture. the mood I associate with this photo is peace or a calming feeling.

I really like this photo. I like how you kept the sky in the picture but I think that some of it could be cropped off. Just so people could focus on the pier more.

This looks really nice. I like how the image has a constant color theme with the blue sky and the lights being the only thing that differ away from that really makes them pop out. The editing done to this is amazing.
