Diana H-PhotoBlog 1

Title of my image is Photo Blog, I took this picture outside of my house, I think the time was 5pm. It was taken with my Powershot camera. I edited it by making the light darker and added a filter. I really  like the way this picture turned out.

I really like this image! the scene is so mystifying. I love the texture of the leaves and the roughness of the paper. I the a shadows and the highlights from the pages really compliment each other. I wouldn't change anything about this image, it is so pleasing as it is.

This is a nice picture. the scene is so relaxing. The highlights and details just go really well with each other. I don't know what i would change from this picture since it's already perfect;).

I was scrolling through the photoblog and this image immediately caught my eye. The image's darkness was clearly intentional and I think that it adds a lot of depth and interest to something that has the potential to be a very boring subject. I think that you did a very good job adding interest. I like the leaves because it gives the image a mysterious, autumn feel. This image was really brought to life with the editing: the vignette, darkening the image, the desaturation, etc. The book creates a frame for the leaves which I enjoyed. The mood is very mysterious and eerie which I enjoyed, especially coming up in October! The words in the book create leading lines that lead a person's eyes outward toward the edges of the image, but the edges are really dark because of the vignette. Although I enjoy the vignette it might be a little too dark; I would have just lessened the vignette just slightly. I really like the image and I think that you did a very good job!

I really like this lighting because it is soft to the viewer's eyes. It looks like you made the corners darker and made the center bright. I like the photo because it is aesthetic and really cool, it gives me a feeling of a fall reading.

This is definitely an eye-catcher. The exposure would normally be too low but for this picture, it fits it nicely. I like how the focus is also on both the book and the leaves so that both components are focused and not only one. The color is not too saturated and it is not black and white either which is nice. Maybe adding just a little bit more color to the leaves would be nice but it is still a good picture. This would be a keeper for my background.

This is a very cool picture! I really like how the leaves stand out just a bit more than the book itself. I like how the book is taking up most of the picture and that there is no empty space in the picture. Lastly I like how the colors aren't so bright. I like how it gives it a old look.

I really like this picture and how you made the middle of the picture brighter and the edges darker. You might want to try to make it contrast a little more.

The lighting in this photo is too soft. the lighting detracts the photo. the white balance is set correctly. there are too many dark spots in the photos. i would hang this photo on my wall because it is cool. EN - HHS

In this picture, I like how the leaves, the smallest things in the picture, are the things that hold the most color. It draws attention to them in this mainly dark photo.

I like how the depth of field in this photo is shallow enough to show beyond the book. The leading line of the middle of the book is a detail I like. This photo creates a fall mood and I like that since it is becoming fall. Savannah P-R HHS

I really liked the way the exposure and the light bring a feeling to the image. The leaves on the book create and add a touch of fall. I really wouldn't change anything about the picture overall. The words and the book make me want to get in bed with a good book.
