Erika P- Icy

This picture is titled “Icy”, because it was taken of my friend’s eye which is so blue it looks almost icy. It was taken in the morning when the sun was shining onto his eye. It was also taken with my iPhone 7. I edited it by smoothing it a bit and increasing the saturation of his eye. I think it could be better if it wasn’t taken with my phone, because it’s not as good as a regular camera.

I love this picture! It's so detailed and the eye color stands out and then the green light on the side makes it stand out more. I honestly don't think this picture could be better.

I love the title it's very cool and I know why you called it icy and I would agree with you on the not having to take it on the phone mainly because it's much to work on especially when you are having to edit it so yeah

Hey Erika! This picture is gorgeous, I can't believe you took it with your phone. It almost looks as if it was taken with a macro lens because of the detailing. The only thing that sets it off is the light flare in the reflection of the glasses. Other than that, its a beautiful shot!

Wow, this is an amazing picture!! His eye is so detailed and clear. I can't believe it was taken with your phone. I really don't know of anything you could change. Great Job!!

This picture is so cool. I love how you can see the frame of the glasses in the picture. I also like how detailed the eye is and I think the color of the eye really pops. I think this picture needs no changes! it's a really great picture. Good Job!!!

This pic is awesome. I like the definition on his eye on this close up. You are right, his eye does look like ice.

I love the cool colors and the glare in the glasses. This picture also looks like there is a frost on the outer edge of it. The details are quite striking as well, being able to see individual hairs and such.

To start, the sheer amount of detail captured in the eye is stunning! The color of the eye most assuredly deserves the title of icy. Both the smooth frame of the glasses and the rough lines created by the eyebrow create both frame the eye and create a subtle contrast, whether intentional or not! If you wanted to try something to make the eye stand out even more, you could try desaturation the whole picture but adding a ask overtop that would allow you to erase around the Iris of the eye in order to make it stand out more. Overall, this photo is beautiful with an intricate display of details and amazing colors.

This is one of the best images I've seen of an eye and the color is amazing!! I love how the contrast or tint isn't overwhelming. The brightness is just right and the sharpness and clarity in this is amazing. I wish I didn't see the light glare in the glasses b==, but other than that amazing job!! Megan C-HHS

Really good pic! I like the detailing of the eye and lashes in this. One thing that I would change is it kind of looks like the skin on the inner eye is super smoothed. I would make it more sharp. (I'm not sure though it may just be the glare). But the color of the eye is gorgeous!! Overall, really good photo!

The color of the iris in this image really captivated me. The detail around it too, focused in on the eyelashes and the eyebrows makes this image standout. I wouldn't change anything about this image, it's amazing just the way it is.
