Caroline L - Blue Ferris Wheel
Jorge S - T-Joint
I titled this photograph “T-Joint.” It is a picture of a 6-pass horizontal T-Joint I welded at RC3. I took it in November in Mr. Rigby’s studio with his camera. I used the Analog Efex to increase the color and overall look of the photo. I then lit some of the darker parts. I noticed that I lightened a part of the photo a bit too much where the bottom weld was affected, making it a bit pale in color. I could have been more attentive when editing the photograph.
Liam D-Just a Cloud Away
The image is called Just a Cloud Away, named after the Pharal Williams song of the same name. It was taken in my yard on August 20th with my Canon camera (I don’t remember its official name) . I increased the brightness and saturation to make it brighter. If there was a little more cloud in it I think it could be better.
Chandler D- Ice Ring
Chloe C- Taka
The title of this image is, “Taka”. This cat wandered into our backyard during the snow we had a while back and my mom and i brought him inside away from the cold. Waiting for the roads to clear so we could take him to the vet, I named him Taka (lion king reference). I took this specific picture with my phone and used the photos app to make the sunlight stand out more. I like this image a lot, but I couldn’t decide whether to cut the door out or not. After a week of keeping Taka, we finally got him to the vet and found him microchipped and safely got him back to his owner. His real name was Nacho.
Finley B - Pink Lemonade
This picture was taken at the beach near the restaurant called "Lulu's." I took it on my phone two summers ago. I adjust the photo to emphasize the pink color while also giving it a warmer tone. I aimed to give this a vintage film appearance. However, I could have made the photo brighter and softer.

Lamon J- Spotlight
This image’s title is “Spotlight” since there sorta looks like a light is being shown on the face of the silhouette in the photo, breaking up the shadow. This image was inspired particularly by a shot from Tyler The Creator’s “See You Again” where Tyler kinda stands in front of this calm background with most of his body enveloped in shadow, only his mouth and eyes being visible. I’m not sure how well I executed this idea and I honestly kinda wish I did a bit better with blending the shadows of the actual figure. Other than that I feel sort of proud of this image since it’s the most ambitious I’ve been with a portrait in a while.
Maddie B- Black and White Clock
Calliope T - Kitten
This is called Kitten and it was taken at an antique store on November 10, 2023. It was taken with a Canon digital camera. I edited it by making the colors a little cooler and also more vibrant. It could be better if the background was a little lighter.
Mazzy C- Pond
This photo is titled Pond because it is a picture of a pond. It was taken downtown in Railroad Park on Novemeber 2, 2024. I edited this picture by making the hues more warmer. This image could’ve been better if I brightened it up a little.
Laura H- Harp
Milo B - Life on the Lake
The title of this picture is Life on the Lake. It was taken January 9th in McCalla. I took it with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I did not edit it. It could be better if my grandfather was facing away from the camera a little bit more.

Ellie B- Studies
The name of this photo is “Studies”. It was taken in the photo shoot room here at the school on November 8, 2024. I used a Cannon T-7 to take this picture. I edited this photograph to be black and white. I also added a burned-looking border around its edge. There could be more in the upper section of the frame. The subjects in this image are from a mix of my own schoolwork and a friend's books.

Kais C- Colorful Sun
I call this image “Colorful Sun” I took it on my phone 13 pro in atlanta georgia. I used basic editing such as curves to help with the colors and also using saturation and brightness with vibrance. I think i could do without it being so colorful and making the main focus on the sunset and how beautiful it could’ve been without it.
Marcus M- Somethings Wrong/ The Mannequin
This piece, called “Somethings Wrong/ The Mannequin,” is a mysterious, eerie horror piece. I took it outside a fashion store while celebrating my grandma’s birthday at the cheesecake factory. I took the picture on my phone. An iPhone 13. I edited it with Photoshop for a digital photography assignment, where we had to make our photos look like paintings. One thing I will say is that I could have added a bit more black shadow around the mannequin I chose. I meant for this piece to be an analog horror and creepypasta-inspired piece, and I seem to have nailed it.
Rachel N - The Torii
Tristen P- Perfect Harmony.
This photo is named Perfect Harmony. I took this photo in the back room with my flute and my friend Irais’ clarinet. When editing this photo I raised the brightness while also increasing the saturation and contrast. I added more to the green color while I darkened around the base of the instruments. I also blurred the background and lightened around the head of the flute.
Maggie P- Untitled
Diamond S- Bedroom
This is a picture of half of my bed. How i edit it was i turn the exposure down so -35 so it gives off that clean look. Also is turned the brightness up to the lights in the background would pop out. This was taken in my bedroom before my birthday. I feel like this picture would have more of a pop out color.
Rachel S- Celebration
My picture is titled “Celebration”. This is a picture I took of a cake I baked for my cousin’s birthday. I edited it by enhancing the color and editing away stray sprinkles. I think it could be better if the frosting was smoother in some spots where you can see the cake peeking through and I don’t know how to edit that because Photoshop is confusing. This cake is graham cracker and cinnamon flavored.

Calliope T - Oregon House
I named this photo Oregon House. It was taken in Oregon on July 1st 2024. It was taken with a canon digital camera. I edited this photo to make it look a little more foggy by blurring the background and the fog around the house. I think it could be better if the picture was a little bit more zoomed in or closer to the house.
Caroline S- Cross
Javier O- Untitled
Reagan M - Makeup Close Up
The title of my image is “Makeup Close Up.” It was taken at night in my room with an iPhone 11. and shows my makeup on my vanity. I edited this photo by turning up the saturation and giving it more warm tones. It would be better if it were more focused.
Angel H- Apple on a Brick
Jaxson L- Road to the Sun
I named this Road to the Sun. I took this in Bangor, Maine on June 14th. I took this photo with my iphone 14. I made the contrast higher and made it so it was more level. I could have made it so the sign was more to the left. I took this also three days before I moved from Maine.
Mary Alex R- My Star
I titled this image “My Star” and its a picture of my little glass Christmas tree. I took this picture a couple of weeks ago in my bedroom. I put it on my bed and used a tripod to get really close up. I manuel mode and spent a few minutes just trying to get it perfectly in focus. I was really careful when using sharpness not to overdo it and make it grainy, but I increased the sharpness of the colors of the star and I used dodge to bring light to the tree. I also slightly decreased the curves to make the background darker and cropped it so that the star could be in the center. It could have been better if there was a little bit more color in the background to make it pop more but overall I really like how it turned out! This is the best close up picture I’ve taken so far.
Victoria S- Abby
Sarah S - Eggy
This image is titled “Eggy”. I took it in Mr. Rigsby’s photo studio with my IPhone 14. I edited it with photoshop in this order: Saturation/color manipulation, Sharpening, Grain filter, Cutout filter, and then more grain. This specifically gives the eggs a printed look. I think this image turned out perfectly, and I wouldn’t change anything about it if I could. I named it Eggy because everytime I see anything relating to eggs, I blurt out “Eggy!”
Montana T- Strings
This photo is called “Strings”. I took this shot in my room by placing my guitar on the floor and taking the picture close to the strings. I edited this photo by upping the brightness but adding a bit of a dark vintage around the photo to make the center pop more. I also increased the vibrancy of this to make the wood look better. I do wish I could’ve got a better angle without my room being the background but, overall I liked how this picture came out and it’s one of my favorites.
Irais B-C - Duet
This picture was taken a few weeks ago in Mr. Rigsby’s studio. It was a little shoot I did with one of my friends. The photo was taken with my iPhone 14 on the regular camera setting. I edited the image by darkening the corners and sharpening the mouthpieces to make them stand out more. I also brought out the saturation to the places where the colored light was touching, to make the colors pop. I think the photo could have been better if it wasn't so blurry, but I like the overall photo.

Dani H- Thankful For The Sun
Ashlyn G- Beauty in Pain
I named this image beauty in pain, I titled it Beauty in Pain because the moth had broken its wing and it was in pain but was still beautiful. I took this image out on the football field this summer while practicing. I took this image with my Iphone 14. I edited it by changing the background to look less messy and defined the moth's unique features. I could have removed more light from the sides of the image to make the moth the main object of the picture without any distractions.
Liam D- Header
The title of the selected image is Header .Taken late November at a soccer field. Taken with my Canon camera. Applied the analog effect with as well as changing the colors. Could be better if my brother wasn't covered that much.
Chandler D- Beach Sunset
The title of my selected image is “The Beach Sunset”. This photo was taken in Panama City Florida, this year during Spring break. This photo was taken with my Iphone 14 camera. To edit this photo I enhanced the brightness of the sunset and lowered the exposure. This photograph could be better by sharpening areas in the photo to enhance.
Hayden C - Remember When?
Kaitlyn W- Stay Sleeping
The title of my selected image is “Stay Sleeping.” I took this picture while doing laundry, and my dog wanted attention, but he had just gotten tired and was sleeping. Almost anytime I look his way, he is in his third dream, growling in his sleep. I edited this picture using the sharpness tool, although I think I could have cropped the couch out of the picture.
Marvin M- Sunset
The title of this image is ‘Sunset’, and I called it that because that's what it is. I took this in a Target parking lot. I edited it to be more saturated so that it can highlight the color of the sky. I feel like I could turn down the saturation a little. But i feel like it's good.
Nicholas T- Exotic
I call this photograph “Exotic”. It was taken on November 15th, 2024 at the art exhibition we had. I took the opportunity to take multiple photos of the vases. As usual I used my DSC-W800 to capture the photos. I used a Nik Collection filter called “Color EFEX” to increase the contrast of the photo. I also removed a sticker on the vase that looked stupid. There is a bit too much noise in there for my liking.
Sadie S- My Cat
The title of this image is “My Cat”. It’s a picture of my cat Narcissa that was taken at my house over thanksgiving break. It was taken on my Iphone 16 Pro Max using the camera app. I used lightroom to edit it and made adjustments to the temp, saturation, highlights, and exposure. It would be better if the shadow in the back wasn’t so dark.
Joshua N- Aubie
This image is called Aubie, because it is the name of my dog. I took this photo with a Nikon D5100 in August on my side porch. I edited this mainly by adjusting the colors and making it warmer to make his fur more orange because that's what he actually looks like. I applied a warm filter, but didn’t really make any massive adjustments. I think it would look better if his eyes didn’t look lopsided and if I was a little farther back, but I like it just the same.
Nora M - Mountains
Laura H- Alaska
The title of this photo is Alaska because that is where it was taken. I took this photo with my Canon Camera and Edited it with the silver efex tool in the NIK collection in Photoshop.
