Grant S- Lake Life
This photo is called Lake Life. I took this at the lake right next to the stadium at the school. I took it with my Nikon. One Thing I’d do to make this photo is get the bushes out of the bottom of the picture.

Eric H- Da Parking Lot
I took this over the summer at the parking deck at the Galleria! I took this off of my iPhone! I edited it by adding shadows and cooling it off! It could be better if it were a little more focussed but overall I thought it turned out alright!
Alena D- Purity
I named this photo “Purity”. This was taken at a reception for a wedding I went to over the summer. It was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T5. I didn’t really edit this photo I left it the way I took it. I think it could have been better if I zoomed out a little bit more to see the flower and candles and if I focused better. I honestly like how it captures lots of things that was going on in this photo. I named it Purity because a wedding is pure and beautiful and these were the flowers they had at the wedding and it was a perfect thing to take.
Oryieon M- Pepsi
The Name For this picture is Pepsi. I Took it about 3 days ago when i was at work (pizza hut). I took it with my iPhone5. The only edit i did was use a filter from the edits in my iPhone. The angling of this picture could have been a little better.
ReRe H- Sisters
The tittle of my photo is “Sisters”. It was taken a couple of weeks ago in my living room with my Fujifilm FinePix S8600. I edited this photo by increasing the exposure and contrast a little. I also Turned the temperature up to make a
sepia tint to give an old-fashioned look to the photos I could have made this picture better by adjusting the image and/or using the rule of thirds. i also could have edited the the feel and eyes out better by making sure it was all the way gone and not just partial.

Ryan M- Bring Me Solo and the Wookie
The title of my image is “Bring Me Solo and the Wookie.” It is quite obvious that this is an image of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. This particular Jabba the Hutt is a 6 inch tall Black Series action figure, so despite his notoriety as a gangster, he is one of my favorite pieces of my Star Wars collection due to his sheer girth. I took the photo on August 23rd, 2015 in my bedroom, which happens to be one of two rooms containing my Star Wars collection. It will soon be more as I get my father more and more into Star Wars as the new movies come out. I took the photo with my EOS 1200D digital camera. I edited the photo by boosting, lightening, and giving sharpness and definition to the photo. I also applied the vignette border. I feel the photo could be better if Jabba’s head was not caught in the shadow because I feel his eyes would be better illuminated without the shadow. The way it currently is gives me the feeling of him sitting on his throne in his Royal Palace or inside his Sail Barge because both locations are very dark and shadowy in Return of the Jedi.
Josh C- Planet
this photo is called “Planet” and it was taken in my home a couple of weeks ago. It was taken with a Cannon powershot. It could be better if I had a better camera and tripod to prepare the photo.
Chris C- Knowledge
The title of my picture is knowledge. I named it this because we was doing notes and i saw my subject studying and took the moment to capture it. I took this picture in Mr. Rigsby class in 5th period. This photo was taken with my LG G3 phone. I didn’t edit this photo. Something that I could have change in the photo was to move at another angle and change the lighting.
Alex Z - The Logan Crisis
I call this photo “The Logan Crisis” because Logan is basically a crisis, he’s too funny. This was taken on the Hoover High School marching band practice field on October 19th, 2015. It was taken with my CANON PowerShot ELPH 100 HS. I edited this photo using curves, blur filters (On the three people also in focus), attempted to make the sky darker, hopefully making it a nice blue (failed), I got rid of the soccer players, as well as added a rainbow onto Logan’s face to show how happy he is. I also went to mess with Logan’s face just for giggles, and made his eyes darker, and gave him a two-faced self (Light side and dark side). This photo could be better if I had taken this away from the sun facing the camera at an angle, because there wasn’t much I could do thanks to that… Logan is still chill though about it.
Ryan F- KC Lights
The title of this image is “KC Lights”. It was taken on September 24, 2015, at night in my driveway, with my Canon EOS Rebel 14. I edited this picture by changing the contrast, brightness, and hue/saturation, along with adding a black and white filter or effect. I personally think it could be better if it wasn’t so spotty.
Sydney G- Flower
The title of this photo is Flower. This was taken for the Night & Day assignment in my kitchen. I edited this by turning the brightness down so you could see the colors better. This could be better if i took it at a different angle maybe.

Bradley C- Da Bridge
This was taken under near by bridge near Simmons Middle School! I took this with my Nikon D7000! I did edit this picture cause I like the look of the original image a lot! I think it could be better by lower the exposure little bit making the image a tad bit darker! Overall I thought it came out pretty well to me!
Ashley W- Young God
I took “Young God” at Renaissance Records in downtown Birmingham on September 26th with my Nikon D3200. I edited this by doing a whole lotta stuff on photoshop that I don’t really remember. It could probably be edited better and I coulda taken it from a better angle.
Molly B- Cotton
The title of this picture is Cotton. This picture was taken in my living room towards the middle of August. It was taken with my COOLPIX L830. I edited it by bumping down the exposure and contrast, heightening the definition, highlights, shadows, lighting, and sharpness. It could be better by evening out the lights.
Jonathan T. - Looming Coca Cola Bottle
I call this photograph “Looming Coca Cola Bottle”. I took it in my home in late August this year. I took it with a Kodak EasyShare V803 camera. I added definition and decreased saturation and exposure. It could be better if it were in better lighting and less tilted and added sharpness. I chose this photo because I like to collect random items, the Coca Cola bottle being one of them.
DrewF- Huracan
This picture was taken over the summer at Cars and Coffee. The picture was taken with either a nikon d3300 or a canon. all I did to edit this was brighten it.

Cain M- Back Yark
This photo was taken in my back yard this summer. This was taken with a nikon D3000. I edited this picture using the glowing edges filter in photoshop. It would be better if more edges were light up with the filter.
Megan S- Caroline's Portrait
This was taken October 21st at the Ross Bridge train tracks. This photo was taken with my Nikon Coolpix camera. I edited it by turning up the saturation, whitening the teeth, and blemishing the skin. It could be better if it had better quality and if it was taken at a different angle.
Dejon F- Ashile
The title of this image is named “Ashile” because that is the name of the model in the photo.
This photo was taken on October 17, 2015 at Moss Rock.
This image was taken with my Canon Powershot SX 130 IS.
I edited this photo by increasing the saturation.
This photo could be better if her shoes were more in the frame.

Nicole T- Piano Man
I named this picture Piano Man and I took it with a Canon Powershot Sx 150 IS at the Galleria Mall a few months ago. I edited it by using the Sepia, Vignette, Fade, and Boost filters on iPhoto as well as turning up the contrast, exposure, and saturation. It could be better if I was able to take the picture with less distractions. I picked this picture because music means a lot to me and the piano man represents that.
Caroline N- Peace
The title of this image is ‘Peace” I took this picture at home like a month ago. I put glow stick liquid all over my hand to make my hand glow. I took this picture with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I edited this picture by blacking out the background and turning up the saturation.
Samuel C - Supermoon
• Supermoon
• It was taken outside my house during the night of the Supermoon
• It was taken with a Nikon D40X camera
• I edited the exposure to give it a nice graduated effect
• I wish that I had a higher quality camera to get a better look at the moon

Emily F- Dead End
This was taken in my nieghborhood at dawn. It was taken with a sony cyber-shot DSC- H300 camera. I edited it in photoshop. It could be better if it were less blurry.
Maison R- Sophie
The title of this photo is “Sophie”. I took it a few months ago in my backyard. I used my iPhone 6 to take this picture because that’s what I had with me. To edit it, I increased the contrast and saturation. Also, I made it a little sharper. It would be better if there weren’t any objects in the background.
Daniel M- Tip Top
I call this photo “Tip Top”. I took this photo yesterday afternoon at Tip Top Grill. I took it with my Nikon D40. To turned the exposure and contrast down. To make this photo better I think I would have taken it from a different angle. I live in Bluff Park down the road from Tip Top Grill.

Vanely C- Modeling Pigeon
This image was taken at Panama City Beach on September 7, 2015. It was taken with a Samsung Galaxy Camera 2. The way I edit my photo was by adding contrast to 23, and saturation to 50, i also made the color of the pigeon more darker. I think my image could of been better if i would of used the rule of the third. This is my favorite picture because the pigeon was up close to the camera and i was able to focus my shot to the sand of the beach and the pigeon. Also, i caught the pigeon on a moving position he wasn’t just standing there.
Jacob C- Old Glory
I entitled this picture Old Glory. It was waken about a week ago in Leeds, Alabama. At the time I didn’t have my camera with me so I just took it with my iPhone 5. I wanted a sort of serious look so played with the levels, contrast, and vibrance. I also added the black and white filter and reduced the opacity a little. This photo could have been a lot better if I would have had my camera with me. I had to take it with my phone at a long distance so the quality wasn’t what it could have been.
Chloe J- Before I Die
I named this photo “Before I Die”. It was taken about a month ago in a building in Vestavia. I edited it by adding more saturation and darkening the overall image. It would be better if I took it from a different angle.

Briley S- Sunset
This was taken towards the beginning of the year outside of my house. It was taken with my Samsung SL720. To edit this picture I turned the brightness down and then turned up the contrast to make it darker and to bring out the orange. The picture could be better if my neighbor’s house wasn’t in the way.
Caitlin G- Adventure
The title of this image is ‘Adventure”. It was taken in the car during summer and it was taken with my iPhone 5S. I edited it on my phone with an app called VSCO. It could be better if maybe I it was more focused and edited more.
Seth W- Sunset at Gulf Shores
The title of this picture is the Sunset at Gulf Shores and it was taken at gulf shores this past weekend. This picture was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T5. To edit this photo I enhanced it a little bit and made it a little warmer. I think it looks really good and I really like the edit.

Matthew R - Lamborghini
This photo is titled “Lamborghini” because that’s what it is. I took it this past weekend in Atlanta with my canon T3i when I was hanging out at the Lamborghini dealership. I edited it in Lightroom, adjusting the clarity, and some colors. It could be a little bit sharper but it comes off as very clean, and has a nice aperture so that the background is blurred out.
Mychael O- Molly
The title of this picture is “Molly.” Its was taken on a trail about 3 days ago. I took this photo with my Nikon D60 and I edited it by adding a little vibrance. It could be better if I cropped it differently.
Riley Y - Silhouette
I called this image Silhouette because of the shadow on the trees in the foreground. I took this photo in late August off of my grandparent’s balcony that overlooks the side of the mountain on Shades Crest. I took it with my Cannon Powershot S5 IS. I edited it by cropping off some of the sides and top, turning the vibrance up to 100, and by increasing the red hue behind the trees to make it pop a little bit more. I think it would be better if I had taken it with a tripod instead of holding the camera. I like this picture a lot, it reminds me of The Lion King.
