I took and edited this photo for the portrait project that we did a unit or so ago. To edit it, I lowered texture settings like dehaze and clarity and turned down the saturation but not the vibrance. That way I could subtly edit the warmth and tone of the image while still keeping it mostly black and white. That’s how I was able to achieve this glowy effect.
I really like the shadows and softness in this photo. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI think this image is really cool! the was she looks so pale is co crazy and so cool that effects can do that.
ReplyDeleteI love how the photo is slightly out of focus. It makes it look sort of dreamy. There is a perfect balance of light and dark in this picture, and the shadows make it look really interesting. This photo tells a really interesting story and I like it.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, I love the way the lighting is only on her face. I also like the way it looks dreamy in a way.
ReplyDeleteThe main subject has a more soft focus, which I think works for this photo because it adds to the hazy feel of the photo. I really like that you didn’t cutoff the background to include more of the subject because the inky background of the photo enhances the subject and draws in the eye. I see a hazy, soft, dreamy mood in this photo. -HHS AG
ReplyDeleteI love this!! The soft focus and the dramatic lighting really contribute to the overall glowy, ethereal effect. This is very well done, with a lovely model. Even the shadows across their face lead to more intrigue and interest. I love how it all comes together to tell a story of haziness and distance, but it doesn't have a creepy vibe. CL - HHS.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast in this photo! The photo not being all the way in focus gives the photo a dreamy vibe, I also love how the dark background brings attention to the subject, very nice photo!
ReplyDeleteI LOVEEE the photo and how the lighting hits them in the face.
