I titled this image “In Full Bloom” as it reminds me of spicebush flowers. It was taken on December 4, 2024 in the school courtyard. As usual I took it with my DSC-W800. The main thing I added was a Nikke filter which browned the image, I also increased the contrast and exposure. I think it could have been sharpened more.
I love the focus on the tree, it's such a detailed photo. I love the different colors of the image. I would definitely hangthis on my wall.

ReplyDeleteThe angle of this picture really caught my attention at first. I also like how you used the rule of thirds, leaving sky for around 1/3 of the picture. I would have never guessed this tree was in the courtyard. I pictured this tree on a sunny afternoon on a windswept hill. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI really like the perspective and cropping of this photo. I also really love how orange the tree feels, but I think it could bring even more contrast into the photo if you made the sky bluer. The photo has a very summer mood, which is comfortably reminiscent of warmer days. If I had to change it at all, I would get rid of the discoloration in the corners (which likely comes from the filter). Really awesome shot!!

ReplyDeleteThis photo is very pretty in my opinion I feel that it could be a little better if you put something else on it but the filter it has is good it is an excellent photo I love it.
