Matthew O- Retire

I took it at red mountain about two weeks ago during spring break using a tripod and a timer.
I used my Nikon D5200 camera with a 35mm f/1.8 lens.
I edited using layers, levels and color adjustments in photoshop.
I like this photo because of the soft look and dark colors; it is easy on the eyes.

  1. this is a really good picture! i just suggest you had made it brighter and adde more contrast just enough to where you would keep the soft and dark look but you would defined the subject and background more.

  2. I really like the idea of this picture. I also like the darkness and how the subject is a bit brighter than the background.

  3. I really like this picture, i like the mood and the color palette, i would crop it in a different way so the subject is not in the center , but everything else is really good.

  4. unoriginal. why do all of your photos consist of you laying on the ground?

  5. i really like this picture. I think you could of bumped up the contrast just a little bit more and maybe added a higher offset. i think if maybe you were dressed in tattered clothes, it would match the theme of the picture more. but overall, i really like it

  6. I really like this photo, I like how dark it is while still keeping a lot of the details. It's desaturated to the perfect point, great photo.

  10. I really like this photo just how it is. Some people have stated that this photo needs more color but I disagree. I like how this photo is edited with soft/dark colors. I think bright colors would have ruined the mood of the photo. You did a great job editing and great photo! Grace H-HHS

  11. This picture looks very faded and the colors represented the mood and tone of the picture. The contrast and detail in the picture are effective
