Christy N- Flame

I call this photo, “Flame.” It was taking for the action assignment very early on. I came up with the idea by looking around and finding a candle lit up in my room. Then I figured it’d be cool to create a bigger fire and put some meaning into it. It was shot with my Samsung NX2000. I edited it a little bit by cropping it closer together and adding a vibrance layer to saturate the coloring of the flame. I think it could’ve been better if the fire would have taken it’s time to burn everything into ashes, because it took me lots of tries to get a decent outcome. Overall though, I’m proud of it.

    I like this photo a lot, i feel like it tells a story and that isn't something you see a lot on this blog. Great job!

    This is a really good photo. I like the composition of it and honestly it is really hard to find anything I would change so keep it up!

    I really like this picture a lot. It creates a lot of emotion and makes you really think. The color of the flame is really vibrant. overall i really like this picture!!

    This is a great photo! The simplicity is great and creates a deep symbolic meaning. I like how the shutter speed captured the flames and the blurred background really makes the subject pop. Good job overall!

    This is a really cool picture! I really like the meaning behind it. The grey background really adds to the picture. The focus is really sharp and the colors are pretty.

    I really like your photo. It pretty awesome! I like how focused it is. The crumple on the paper, the flames, and the word memories really sum up to a deep meaning. It's really creative and daring to do it too. If I thought of this, I would have burnt my fingers. I like it.

    Wow. This speaks. I like this photo. It gives off a dark vibe, but it works really well. The lighting is good and the flame really stands out. So good

    This picture is DOPE. I believe the colors and filters and the feel of it it adds depth and emotion to it. You did great with the blur in the background. I wouldn't change a thing!!!

    Overall, this photo is very interesting, and is quite creative, with a cool looking idea. The flame on the paper was shot very accurately, suspended perfectly in the air, which I know you took a lot of time to get right. I think it would be better if it was centered more, but other than that, good job.
