Kerry M- Alabama Theater

The picture I selected for my 6th photoblog entry is called, “Alabama Theater.” I took this last weekend downtown.  I took it with my Nikon, the same camera I use for this class. I put a picture of the sign outside of the theater on top of it and used the overlay effect. I raised the contrast and brightened it. It could be better I took a picture of the sign at a different angle.

    This is a great image! Putting the overlay of the sign over the picture of the theater was a really good idea. it gives it almost something like a historical feel. This looks kind of like something you'd see on the front page of a brochure for a history museum or national park. Very cool. Overall, awesome photo!

    This is a nice photo! I like the words overlaying the the other photo. The colors looks good, also. I think it could be better if the words took up the whole image of the theater.

    This is a very cool composite. I like how you used similar themed photos about Birmingham in it. The filters and masks you used for this composite are nicely blended.
