The title of my picture is red rose. For my parents anniversary, my dad sent my mom a dozen roses and i decided to take a picture of them. I took this picture with my Nikon d5000 and edited it by adding a black and white filter and painting back the red of the rose. I wish it wasn’t as up close as it is, but i still really like the picture.
This is a really cool picture! You really did a great job capturing the detail in the rose, and I love how the background is blurred; it really makes the subject pop out! Only change I could possibly think of to add to this picture might be to find a more suiting background, but the current one isn't bad! Great job!

I really like this picture! I love how the red is so vibrant. It looks super good on the black and white background The lighting on the rose and the shadow below it looks really good too! I love it!
