This is an image of the San Diego skyline that I took over spring break. I cropped the image to focus completely on the buildings. Then, I altered the saturation and increased the contrast, especially on the blue colors in the image. I could have made the image better by zooming in more and using a better camera. Overall, I still think that it is good for the photoblog.
Nice Photo. I really like how you were able to incorporate many buildings but also capture the details of most of the buildings. I also like the ripple in the water even if it is coincidental. I also like the little tilt the photo has, but maybe it could be better if it was straightened (but it is still your call). I also like the levels in the photo and think the brightness is perfect. I also like the colors of the photo especially the blue hue of the water. Good job Joe.

This is a really awesome photo! It looks like something you would see in a movie. I really like how you made the blues stand out more. I know you said you wanted it to be more zoomed in but I actually like how it is zoomed out far and you can see more of the skyline. I also like how you took the picture right after a boat passed by to where it made the ripple in the water.

ReplyDeleteYou did a really good job lining up the picture so the skyline is a little higher than the middle--keeping to the rule of thirds.
It is perfectly clear and defined and the colors are bright and crisp.
I like the size it is, but I think the horizon could be a little straighter. It seems a little bit tilted as it is.
Other than that, great job!

I like this picture a lot. I like how clean the lines are and the shadows on the water. I also like the color of the water. I think it could be better if the white in the skies weren't so bright. I really like this picture though, great job!

This is a cool panorama. I really like how you captured a variety of the buildings because there are so many different ones. I like where you took the image which involved the water. I also really like the ripple in the water from another boat.

I completely agree that the image would have been much better if the buildings were more zoomed in. This picture seems perfect for a postcard from San Diego. I wish there was a slightly more contrast and variation in color. Overall, good job.
